This post is about the third J.Cat Beauty jumbo pencil. I liked the performance of this product which was a surprise and I intend to buy more of these in future as well. Keep reading to know why I am so happy with this product.

My Take on J.Cat Beauty BEP105 Truffle The Big Eye Pencil:
This is a pretty color but can be a little tricky to work with because it is pale, cool toned and has champagne shimmers to it and might look unflattering on the brown skin, if not used properly.
Packaging: The product comes in a thick pencil form with white outer cover and a clear plastic cap which, just like NYX jumbo pencil’s cap, is prone to cracking and breakage. I wish the pencil had a twist up mechanism but instead, it has to be sharpened every time and the whole process is messier because of the super soft texture of the product.
Texture: The super soft and buttery texture makes it very easy to apply and blend the product. Before I wear my makeup, I apply Maracuja oil around my eyes and that tends to break my makeup at times despite a good primer underneath. But, this product did not crease or break especially after I topped it with a pale eye shadow or a loose translucent powder.
Color: It is a pale pink toned eye shadow with cool undertones and champagne colored shimmers – it stands out on my skin tone if I go overboard with it. But, if blended right, I can make it work for my warm tone as well.
Pigmentation: One sweep gives a good color pay off and gives a brilliant color payoff which would look pretty on fair skin, and if blended right, then on dark skin tones as well.
Wear time: Once applied, do not mess with it for at least 15 seconds or top it up with a powder shadow or a translucent powder. It will then stay put for around 8 to 12 hours.

• Needs to be sharpened, which leads to wastage
• Cap is very fragile
• Needs to be blended with a warm shadow on warm skin tones
Would I Repurchase J.Cat Beauty BEP105 Truffle The Big Eye Pencil?
Not this particular shade because it would last me a while. But, would like to buy other shades from this range. I do recommend it to the readers. It is worth a try.
