How To Apply:  Use our white fan brush or dome brush to apply. Rock the brush underneath the outer part of the cheekbone using one of our bronzers. Brush it up onto the cheekbone. Apply a brighter colour to the apple of the cheek and brush outwards and down, away from the top of the cheekbone. Blend the two colours together using the brush you used to apply your base. The perfect blush for you is the colour of your cheek when flushed. To narrow a face, bring the colour into the middle of the face, but no farther forward than the middle of the iris. Two colours create a subtle, sophisticated look. To widen a face, keep blush towards the outside of the face. Harmonise blush and lip colour. It gives a natural, pulled together look.

My Experience with Jane Iredale Barely Rose PurePressed Blush:

I have used Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Blush in “Sheer Honey” and was really impressed with the texture, pigmentation and stay power. “Barely Rose” is a soft, cool pink shade, which was missing in my vanity and so I decided to buy this shade. Barely Rose is gluten free, but not vegan, since it contains carmine.

Barely Rose is a matte shade, has good pigmentation, simple to blend, sensitivity tested, and stays put the whole day. Gentle and safe for sensitive skin, free from chemicals and dyes, it is formulated with “good for the skin” ingredients.

Pink blush

This shade gives a natural, “just blushed” finish look to the cheekbones. I first apply my basic foundation, followed by concealer, after applying base/mineral loose powder, using my Natio blush brush, I apply blush to my cheekbones. Barely Rose gives a beautiful, naturally-blushed look. It does not feel powdery or chalky, has a smooth satiny texture, stays put, does not fall or fade.

A very little amount is required, colour intensity is buildable, depending on the number of swipes from sheer finish to build up, desired effect. It does not irritate or dry out my sensitive skin. It gives a glamorous look to my face and enhances the colour of my cheek bones.

This texture is very light and satiny, a soft pink shade, perfect for regular use, special occasions and evening outings. However, I like wearing this blush during day time. On one or two occasions, I have used it as an eyeshadow and it really gave a beautiful, natural rose pink effect to my eyes. The best thing about Jane Iredale Pure Pressed range of eyeshadows and blushes is that they can be used on eyes and cheeks as well.
