How to apply:
Using the lip stain applicator, apply lip stain to your lips, let it dry. Then apply a top coat of lipgloss using the lip gloss applicator. Lip stain and lip gloss can be used individually to get the desired look.
My Experience with Jane Iredale Lip Fixation Desire:
Packaging: Lip gloss and lip stain are individually packaged in good quality plastic tubes, which are connected with a dual ended applicator which has a golden band in the centre. The entire packaging looks beautiful and comes packed in a white cardboard box.
I have used Revlon Colorstay overtime in various shades and have liked them all; however, their lasting properties made it difficult to remove the stubborn stains from the lips without using a makeup remover and some shades would sit into lines and not budge. This time I decided to buy a lip fixation from Jane Iredale and bought Desire. One side of the dual ended applicator is for lip stain and the other side for lip gloss. The dual ended applicator enables precise, smooth and individual application. Travel friendly packaging closes tightly on both sides.
Desire lip fixation has a terracotta-coloured lip stain and clear lip gloss. Lip stain has good pigmentation and stay power is good, being a neutral shade. The color is buildable too. Two swipes give good coverage to my pigmented lips.
A top coat of lip gloss gives a glossy shine to my lips. It’s a perfect neutral shade, suitable for regular wear and gives my lips a desired neutral effect. It does not dry or dehydrate my lips or sit in fines lines. On drinking water, tea or coffee, the glossy shine vanishes and after having meals the lip stain colour fades, leaving a very mild unnoticeable stain. However, lips continue to feel smooth and supple. This stain can be washed off, or easily removed with a makeup remover, with no stubborn stains.
It does not transfer or spread. In my opinion, Jane Iredale lip fixation is a perfect blend of beauty and skin care.
