My Experience with Jane Iredale LipDrink SPF 15 Lip Balm Crush:

Packaging: LipDrink comes in a metal coloured packaging, with a chrome coloured ring near the base and a berry coloured ring on the cap, which is the colour of the lip balm. This beautiful packaging comes packed in a white cardboard box. The cap closes tightly which makes it travel friendly.

I was using The Body Shop lip balm and Labello lip balm, but discontinued using because these lip balms used to make my lips dry and patchy. However, I decided to take one more chance and bought a lip balm from Jane Iredale. The company claims that it is a lip drink, which quenches the lips, provides moisture, protects and gives a subtle sheen. Secondly, Jane Iredale LipDrink has been awarded with Natural Health International Award 2015.

Jane Iredale LipDrink SPF 15 Lip Balm Crush Review

Sometimes, when my lipstick fades and redo is not necessary, I prefer to cleanse my lips with a cleansing wipe and apply a lip balm. Crush is a tinted sheer berry, subtle shade. It is mildly pigmented and gives a subtle sheen. It mildly moisturises my lips, keeps them hydrated, soft and supple. Initially, the texture felt rough and did not enable smooth application. However after two three uses, the texture got smoothened. It is very mildly pigmented, so the colour does not show much, but gives a luxurious crushed berry coloured natural, shiny tint to my lips.
The formula feels soft and smooth on my lips. For my first two to three uses, I had my doubts whether it really helps or not? I used it again and again, only to testify that Jane Iredale lip balm does not dry, dehydrate or peel my lips. It mildly moisturises, keeps lips hydrated, soft and supple. It has SPF protection, so can be used even during day time. In fact when I am not in a mood to wear lipstick, I use this lip balm. This shade is buildable to get a desired look; several swipes are required on my pigmented lips.

swatch

Kindly note that my hand swatch picture has three swipes. It does not transfer if applied with one or two swipes; however, when applied with several swipes, it tends to transfer to cups and glasses. It easily stays for more than 3 hours and even after fading continues to keep lips hydrated for almost 6 hours or even more.
