Suggested Use:
Use after exfoliating the lips (try our best-selling Sugar and Butter Lip Exfoliator!) creates a smooth canvas for your lipstick, which helps it go on smoother and wear longer.
Expand your lip wardrobe by using a coordinating Lip Definer underneath to deepen; or contrasting ones to modify the hue of your favourite lipstick.
Key Ingredients:
The proven soothing properties of moringa oil moisturises the lips. Orange peel wax, avocado and sunflower seed oils give a luxurious, conditioned and quenched feeling to the lips. Vitamins A and C and coffee seed extract infuse the delicate lip area with antioxidant protection. My Experience with Jane Iredale Lucy PureMoist Lipstick:
Recently, I have been obsessed with the colour pink and could not resist the temptation to buy this beautiful pink peony shade from Jane Iredale Puremoist lipstick range. It’s a beautiful shade which is creamy and gives a matte finish to my lips. Its creamy, rich formula glides and applies smoothly. The sleek design of the tube enables easy and precise application. One swipe gives sheer coverage to my pigmented lips and two to three swipes gives an opaque finish. It tends to spread during application since the formula is creamy.
Using a lip liner to outline the lips or a lip definer underneath is definitely helpful and is advised also. In case I have been lazy to use my Clarins Extra-Firming Lip and Contour Balm, I exfoliate my lips using Jane Iredale Sugar & Butter Lip Exfoliator/Plumper prior to wearing this particular shade. This way, my lips become clean and smooth for this matte shade. Lucy does not dry or dehydrate my sensitive lips.
Since the texture is creamy and the lipstick formula is loaded with lip moisturisers, lips feel quenched and conditioned. It tends to transfer and the lasting power is four hours on my lips. After four hours it fades, leaving an even stain which can be removed with a makeup remover. It can be reapplied during the day, without wiping the whole lipstick. It completely fades after heavy meals and lightens after having snacks, sipping water, tea and coffee. It’s an excellent shade for regular office wear, evening wear and for special occasions. This shade can be worn during all seasons, in my opinion. I use it for regular wear as well as for special occasions and evening outings.
