My Experience with Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Eye Shadow Single Caribbean:
I have used Jane Iredale Purepressed Eye Shadow Single earlier and really like them. Caribbean is a new addition to my makeup kit. Since the summers are going on, I chose this shade to give a cool effect and a summery look to my eyes. It’s a beautiful aqua shade with silver shimmers. The silver shimmer is more prominent in this shade. However, the shimmer is very mild and not gritty, does not scratch or hurt, and in fact cannot be felt.
The texture is smooth, glides easily and applies easily. This eyeshadow can be applied dry or wet. Pigmentation is good and lasting power is four to six hours. The shadow does not fall or crease. This shade needs to be removed with a makeup remover. The shade is blendable and buildable to get the desired effect. But, it does tend to fade unevenly. I prefer using it in the dry form and I apply it on my upper eyelid as a normal eyeshadow, below my lower lashes and on the inner corner of my eyes. This eyeshadow does not irritate the sensitive skin near my eye contour area or cause any burning sensation in my eyes.
Once I had applied this shade in the wet form as an eyeliner very close to the waterline (near my lower eyelashes) using Jane Iredale Detail Brush. It did not cause any irritation or burning sensation. This shade can be used on regular basis and even for special occasions. It’s a pleasant shade, looks cool and nice on me. However, it does not show up well in photographs. Several swipes are required to get the desired built up effect when applied on the eyes.
