My Experience with Jane Iredale PureGloss Lip Gloss Red Currant:
Packaging: Comes packaged in a good quality transparent plastic tube with a golden colored screw open cap which has an applicator attached. The applicator enables an easy and smooth application. This tube has the company name and other details inscribed on it in a golden colored font. This tube comes packed in a white colored cardboard box. Packaging can be termed travel-friendly.
Jane Iredale PureGloss Lip Gloss is one among my favorite lip glosses. I love trying different shades and hence I picked one more shade from this range. This time, I picked Red Currant which is a shimmering red rose shade. It’s a beautiful glossy shade with mild shimmering glace.
The texture feels creamy and applies smoothly. Decently pigmented, gives a sheer coverage to my pigmented lips. Imparts a glossy shine to my lips. Lips feel soothed, restored and hydrated. I sometimes apply it directly on my lips, and at times layer it over a lip color.
When layered over a lip color, it makes the lip color last a bit longer. However, when applied on its own, lasting power is as good as two to four hours. Once I start ingesting, the shiny gloss starts disappearing, but the creamy feeling stays on for quite some time. Does not spread or feather. Does not feel sticky or tacky. Red Currant is a nice shade for daily use as a lip gloss or even as a lip treatment. It does not dry, irritate or dehydrate my sensitive lips. Keeps them soft, supple and moisturized while it’s there.
