Jane Iredale PurePressed Blush - Whisper Review

Price: $33.35 for 2.8 g

Product Description:
Pure pressed blush gives a lit from within glow, creates a luminous look and airy feeling. Create beautiful, flushed cheeks with our mineral blush. Colours so subtle and natural you’ll look like you’re glowing from the inside out!

Tips on how to apply:
Use our White Fan Brush or Dome Brush to apply.
Rock the brush underneath the outer part of the cheekbone using one of our bronzers. Brush it up onto the cheekbone.
Apply a brighter colour to the apple of the cheek and brush outwards and down, away from the top of the cheekbone.
Blend the two colours together using the brush you used to apply your base.
The perfect blush for you is the colour of your cheek when flushed.
To narrow a face, bring the colour into the middle of the face, but no farther forward than the middle of the iris.
Two colours create a subtle, sophisticated look.
To widen a face, keep blush towards the outside of the face.
Harmonise blush and lip colour. It gives a natural, pulled-together look.

My Experience with Jane Iredale PurePressed Blush – Whisper:

Packaging: This comes packaged in a small compact with a golden coloured base and a transparent lid, which closes with a click. This tiny compact comes packed in a white coloured cardboard box, which makes travel friendly packaging.

Having used Jane Iredale PurePressed blush Barely Rose, I decided to pick one more shade from this range and this time I picked Whisper, a shimmering peachy pink. I like wearing light colours on my cheek, which give a natural glow. The shimmer is subtle and non-gritty. This shade gives a natural peachy glow with a mild sheen, to my cheeks.

Texture is soft, smooth and does not feel powdery. It is easy to blend and the shade intensity is buildable to get the desired effect. This shade gives better effect when blended using finger tips. Two to three swipes are required for this shade to show on my moderately fair skin with warm undertones. This shade is apt for spring and summer wear. I like using it as an eye shadow, on my upper lid and it gives a beautiful definition to my eyes. This shade is nicely pigmented.

Staying power is four to six hours, depending on the intensity applied with. It does not dry or irritate my sensitive skin or eyes. The beauty of this shade is it can also be used as a highlighter below brows and on the inner corners of the eyes. To get a better effect and for special occasions and evening outings, I apply this blush on my cheeks along with my Jane Iredale eyeshadow in dreamy pink shade (a shimmering bronzed pink), blend both the shades nicely and it gives a beautiful glow to my cheeks. For regular use and day time, I apply two swipes of this and it gives a beautiful peachy glow which looks natural and lit from within.
