Key Ingredients:  Jane Iredale Pure Gloss Lip Gloss is formulated with – Moringa butter and avocado oil to condition and moisturise the delicate skin of the lips.  Pomegranate extract, a potent natural antioxidant containing ellagic acid, which protects skin cells from ageing effects and free radical damage. It also boosts sunscreen protection and acts as a natural preservative.

£20, I got it for £16 for 7 ml.

How To Apply:
Use alone, or for a more polished look, fill in lips with one of our lip definers and layer pure gloss on top.

Packaging:  Jane Iredale pure gloss lip gloss in sugar plum, comes packaged in a good quality flat plastic tube with a golden screw on cap which has a fabricated applicator attached. This comes packed in a white coloured cardboard box. Jane Iredale is written on one side of the flat tube and on the other side shade and weight details are mentioned, in golden colour. The texture of the tube is soft plastic, instead of the usual sturdy tube.

My Experience with Jane Iredale Sugar Plum PureGloss Lip Gloss:

Right now, I am experimenting with different lip glosses and this time, I picked up Pure Gloss lip gloss in the shade “Sugar Plum,” from Jane Iredale, which is essentially a skin care company.  Sugar Plum is a creamy shimmery pink shade, which is mildly pigmented and the shimmer is very subtle.

The texture of the gloss is very smooth and it feels creamy and gives a beautiful glossy shine to my lips. Two to three swipes impart an opaque finish to my pigmented lips. This gloss manages to impart a natural pinkness to my lips.

Hand swatches

It can be worn alone or as a top coat on lip products. I have already experimented using this lip gloss with Jane Iredale Play On Lip Crayon in Charming, (creamy bubble gum pink shade), which I will be reviewing soon. When worn alone, it works like a treatment for the lips making them soft, supple, nourished, hydrated and quenched. The shimmer is very subtle and not noticeable, but gives a glossy shine which is long lasting.  Even if the gloss fades after consumption of tea or meals, lips continue to have the smooth glossy feel unless you remove it. I feel this gloss protects and nurtures my lips with good for skin ingredients. It has a wonderful berry fresh flavour, which I relish.
