How are you all? Today, I am here to share my first eye makeup tool with you and the credit goes to you folks for motivation and inspiration, after all. I have realized the importance of lash curlers in my life after mascaras. I have always dreamt of those big, bold bengali eyes! Well, these curlers are not a fairy wand to change my pahadi eyes to bengali, but they can certainly make them look wide open which is more than enough to flaunt big and bold eyes! I started with this pocket friendly and cute pink Go Curl Eyelash Curler from Japonesque (also thanks to my SIL) because I am still scared of looking at proper tong style lash curlers! 😛
I won’t say this is the best curler in the market, but it is certainly good for novices like me who don’t know how to and where actually use such tools. I am sure I would always get it again & again for it has the cutest packaging ever. Now, let’s move on to know more about this cute pink Japonesque Go Curl Eyelash Curler!
The JAPONESQUE® Pink Go Curl Eyelash Curler creates deep sweeping lashes. The easel back flips down for the leverage needed to produce a long-lasting curl. The open cage design won’t pinch your outer lashes. An extra pad is conveniently tucked inside the curler.

My Experience with Japonesque Go Curl Eyelash Curler:
I simply adore this cute, pink, pocket curler which is totally different in shape and build up from traditional, metallic ones. Even though, it is a small, pink, rectangular curler, it gives a good grip to hold it in place while working on the lashes. Its rubber padding ensures minimum or no pinching sensation and it also comes with additional rubber pads attached in the packaging itself.
Looking over its build up, I often fear pressing its easel hard, it might break my cute buddy, but it’s sturdy enough to stay in place. I am also impressed to see that Japonesque mails us extra set of rubber pads without any extra charge; I received two sets of rubber pads for my curler after three months of filling a form on their site (Quite a long wait, but worth it!).
Talking about the curler, I am blessed with small-medium eyes and medium length lashes which are slightly curled naturally. Hence, I always shy away from big, metallic curlers fearing they might pinch my eyes. Thankfully, this pinky curler fits onto my small eyes without hurting or pinching my skin beneath lashes and we don’t need any practice or even mirrors to handle this tool.
As a first time user, I find it quite easy to use it on my small, curvy lashes as it makes them picture perfect curled with no pain. Moreover, the safety rubber pad takes care of my fear! However, I do find it hard to reach the inner corners of my lashes and I need to use it in small sections over & over in order to get precision, since it is not curvy enough to accommodate my inner corner lashes at once. But, this is not an issue as long as the results are good, which actually are.
It curls my lashes with perfection and gives wide opened eyes and I can, definitely, notice the difference in before and after usage of my lashes. Though, I need to use it twice on the same area for better results which often bothers me, but I am fine with it. I have also found that it effectively curls my damp lashes for longer hours as compared to dry lashes. I did purchase few metallic curlers from drugstore brands (upon curiosity to see difference between the two) and found that this curler gives almost similar results with no pain!
I am lucky that I never lost a single lash while working with this beautiful toy. Unbelievable, isn’t it? Yes gals, it never caused any breakage to my lashes while curling. In fact, it made me addicted to reach for curlers everyday which helped me overcome my fear of using big, metallic curlers.
To be honest, I feel this pocket curler is a must have for everyone; even if you are a pro, you need this pocket friendly curler to use in any public areas or while travelling as it won’t scare people around you; you know what I mean? 😛 Jokes apart, it gives a quick and effective touch up for novices. It is strongly recommended to overcome the fear of using curlers while you enjoy your make over. I know I am definitely getting it again.

Cons of Japonesque Go Curl Eyelash Curler:
