Hey all,
It’s been such a long time, maybe more than 2 years. I used to be so regular at IMBB, but things got quite hectic yet fun at personal front, so I took a break. To break this break, I am here with a review of Jason Soothing Aloe Vera gel. I have been using Jason products for more than two years now. Their tea tree gel (reviewed on IMBB by me) is my all-time favorite and now this aloe vera gel. There are many aloe vera gels available in the market and you can also make one at home, but this one stands out. Really, it is very soothing, as it claims to be and works good on skin.
Product Description:
As per Jason’s website, “This concentrated, non-oily daily moisturizing gel delivers instant dry skin relief. Aloe Vera Gel soothes dry, irritated, sun damaged or newly shaven skin while a boost of nourishing Allantoin and Vitamin B5 replenish and recondition. With use, skin is calmed, balanced and nurtured back to its healthy-looking best.”

How To Use:
After cleansing or shaving, apply to dry skin.
My Experience with Jason Soothing 98% Aloe Vera Pure Natural Moisturizing Gel:
My first and the only problem starts with the direction of usage mentioned in the site. It says ap-ply to dry skin! I don’t agree with this. Many people say aloe vera has moisturizing properties, but I feel aloe vera is not moisturizing in nature. I use the gel on my face in summers and in winters, I apply it on my nose because my nose is extremely oily! So, basically, I use it to control oil production on my face and it works very well in that regard.
It is quite soothing. It does not really dry the skin, but does make it tight and reduces oil blotches on the face or maybe you can say it absorbs oil on the face.
The fact that it is made up of organic aloe vera gel adds to its pluses.
I also use the gel on my daughter. I conveniently apply it on her when she has scratches, blotches or any kind of insect bite or skin irritation and it immediately helps.
I love the gel. It is concentrated in texture, not runny and not creamy. It is a gel and it feels like a gel. In summers, it is pure bliss as it gives a cooling sensation on the face and gets absorbed within seconds.
I like to make my own aloe vera gel, but after moving to Delhi, my life has taken a sudden turn and I do not find time for DIYs and I wanted a gel that could be used when I step outside home. Homemade gel is good but it feels a little sticky on the face and you cannot step outside wearing it. So, I bought Jason’s gel.
I would say go for it if you want a good aloe vera gel.
Pros of Jason Soothing 98% Aloe Vera Pure Natural Moisturizing Gel:
- It really works and is made of organic aloe vera leaf juice and it stands tall to its claims.
- Does not contain silicones and nor parabens.
Cons of Jason Soothing 98% Aloe Vera Pure Natural Moisturizing Gel:
