Hi lovely readers,
This is the third JCat Beauty shadow that I bought as a part of my recent makeup haul and I was not expecting it to work well on my skin tone but it surprised me with its performance. Read on further to know about this product.
Allow your eyes to soar with vivid pigments from an immense selection of Flying Solo eye shadows. The collection glides for every girl—from classic neutrals to the trendsetting shades in mattes and shimmers. The high-quality formula and texture can be worn wet or dry.
My Take on JCat Beauty Once a Month Flying Solo Eyeshadow:
Packaging: I love the packaging. It is smaller than my MAC mono eyeshadows; comes in a nice little shiny black case. A clear window shows the product and has the product name printed in black lettering. On the back, there’s an ingredients sticker that also tells the name of the color. The underside of the pan has a tiny mirror (so cute) and also a tiny sponge applicator is provided. For just $2.99, JCat went all out with packaging.
Texture: It is a powder eyeshadow set in a circular aluminum pan that has a very smooth texture, and is easy to apply. It has a matte finish, but surprisingly has negligible fall out and is easy to pick up on a brush, especially a fluffy one and is easy to apply on lids and crease.
Color: It is a soft pink color with warm undertones and gives a pretty matte finish.
Pigmentation: Pigmentation is not that good, but not disappointing either because most dry eyeshadows can’t be worn without a good eye primer any way. I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadows a few times to pick up some product for the swatches and was happy to see that it had minimal fallout. It is a dry/wet shadow and can be used either ways, but gives a better wear time if applied with a fluffy blending brush or pat on with a moist brush.
Application: I used it on my lids and crease and used it to blend out darker shades. It can be worn alone as well with a light taupe shade to blend it out.
Wear Time: 8 to 9 hours and maybe more, but I removed it after that, but it did stay put during the entire duration I wore it. One can increase the wear time if one uses a primer or white eye shadow underneath.
This is a very good product for the money paid and I love this particular shade. I bought 3 shadows from this range and all of them are unique shades. I prefer palettes since they occupy less space but the colors were so irresistible that I had to try out these shadows.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend JCat Beauty Once a Month Flying Solo Eyeshadow?
No, because it will last me big time, but I am planning to buy all the colors from this range since they perform so well and are so easy on my pocket. I bought three shades and since I love all of them, I want to stock up on other shades as well.
