Every brand has come up with their own versions of liquid lipstick. In this post, I am going to review one of the most popular brands known for their liquid lipsticks – Jeffree Star and their popular Velour Liquid Lipsticks. It’s a vegan and cruelty-free brand. The shade range is huge: from nudes to bold blue and black! I am gonna review the shade “Masochist” from the velour liquid lipstick range today.

My Experience with Jeffree Star Masochist Velour Liquid Lipstick:
The liquid lipstick comes in a transparent and high-end looking plastic tube with a pink cap that has rose gold stars printed on it. The brand name is also printed in rose gold fonts on the front. It has a clear wand and the cap is secure.
In fact, you get a click sound when you close the cap completely. Ah, satisfying, isn’t it? This liquid lipstick has a sweet fruity scent. I like this particular scent in this velour liquid lipstick, but the scent disappears after a while.
The shade Masochist is a stunning dark pink colour. The brand describes this shades as “dark pink matte lipstick”. It will look beautiful on every skintone. I love how it looks on me and this is the shade of pink I love the most.
It is very pigmented and opaque. It’s quite liquidy, so you have to have a steady hand while applying. The wand is very unique and has a bend which holds a sufficient amount of product to cover the entire lip in a single swipe.
It dries down completely matte and feels super lightweight on the lips and does not settle into the fine lines of my lips. But since it’s a matte liquid lipstick, it will accentuate any dry patches, so make sure you exfoliate and moisturise your lips before applying.
On me, it lasts for about 6 to 7 hours without budging and it starts to fade from the inside of lips if you eat oily food. You might notice a little transfer too.
