I have been a huge Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick fan for a very long time now. I have a collection when it comes to his liquid lipsticks. Last year, “Christmas Cookie” was a part of his holiday collection and he is bringing this shade to his permanent line because of its popularity. Read on to know what makes it so popular.

My Experience with Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick Christmas Cookie:

The liquid lipstick comes in a transparent and high-end looking plastic tube with a glitter cap, which also covers half part of the tube as well. The glitter does not feel gritty or rough to touch and doesn’t even flake away.

This shade was part of the holiday collection and has holographic stars printed on it. The brand name is also printed in pink fonts on the front. It has a clear wand and the cap is secure. In fact, you get a click sound when you close the cap completely. Ah! Satisfying, isn’t it?

“Christmas Cookie” is a pretty, slightly darker nude, which would suit a variety of light to medium skin tones. It might wash out deeper skin tones. It is very pigmented and opaque. It’s quite liquidy, so you have to have a steady hand while applying.

The wand is unique and has a bend which holds a sufficient amount of product to cover the entire lip in a single swipe. It dries down completely matte and feels super lightweight on the lips and does not settle into the fine lines of my lips.

But since it’s a matte liquid lipstick, it will accentuate any dry patches, so make sure you exfoliate and moisturize your lips before applying it. This particular shade has no scent to it. On me, the color lasts for about 5-ish hours without budging. It will start to fade from the inside if you eat oily food. You might notice a little transfer too.
