The BB Cream boom has been on for quite sometime now. All-in-one beauty balm cream which moisturizes, repairs and even-tones the skin. I had been using my BB mixed with a moisturizer for my legs, often wondering when would an effective BB cream be launched to provide a flawless appearance to other parts of my body!

One day, as I walked past the moisturizer aisle of the supermarket, I glanced upon something which was (I believed) the result of my endless prayers! Packed in a cute golden tube, it stood out like a jewel on a ring. Yes, it was a BB cream for the body! There were no two thoughts in my mind and I decided to purchase it immediately. Since my legs are on the paler side, I chose the one for “All light skin tones”.

Price: USD 13 for 221 mL tube.

Priced at close to INR 800, this cream is a little expensive, but I decided to buy it anyways since it is not yet available in India.

About the product: This perfecting skin cream claims to have 5 beautifying benefits in one moisturizer for a flawless appearance. It is said to instantly improve the way your skin looks and if used daily, it is said to even the skin tone considerably.

My Take on Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream:

The tube is filled up to the brim, so I was pretty happy with the amount of its contents. It packs in a good 7.5 FL OZ, which is approx. 221 mL .

Application: The application is fairly simple; the tube makes it convenient to squeeze out the product. The product is to be applied similar to a body lotion/moisturizer. For each arm, I use around 3 squeezes of the tube which is almost equal to three 1 rupee coins. (Does anybody remember the good old coins?). For each leg (covering thigh to toe), I use around 5 squeezes.

Pros of Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream:

• The cream works great as a moisturizer.
• When used after a shave/wax it helps reduce bumps.
• Skin is visibly hydrated, reduces dry patches greatly.

Cons of Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream:

• It provides no coverage. Even the smallest of spots aren’t covered.
• The firming benefits are also not visible.
• Definitely doesn’t even tone the skin.

Would I Repurchase Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream?

No. All my excitement soon waned and I was a bit disappointed. The product was not upto the mark and it was a complete failure as far as the coverage bit was concerned. Yes, it did moisturize and hydrate, but it did not correct and conceal. I am not buying this again anytime soon and my quest for the body BB cream continues.
