Jergens Hand and Cuticle Cream Review

Jergens Hand and Cuticle Cream

I was very happy with the effect Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer had on my hands, so I decided to buy the Hand and Cuticle cream as well. It made more sense because even though I have oily skin, my hands can get itchy-dry in winters. I wash my hands a lot and that just aggravates my problem.

Jergens Hand and Cuticle Cream

What it Claims:

Jergens fast-absorbing hand & cuticle cream helps provide immediate healing relief to dry, uncomfortable hands. The rich, creamy, non-greasy formula with soothing soy milk, softening monoï oil and naturally healing vitamin E, noticeably softens rough cuticles with just one use.

What it Does:

The cream is white in colour with a very light texture. It gets absorbed really quickly so you don’t have to work it into the skin and it doesn’t leave behind any greasy feeling. I don’t like when lotions and creams leave behind a greasy feeling; it just makes me feel as if my hands are attracting a lot more of dirt and grime.

It claims that hands and cuticle become 200% soft with just one use. I don’t know how they measure the amount, but the hands do feel a lot softer after using it only once. It doesn’t have a heady fragrance and its mild smell doesn’t linger on your hands. I find heady smells very annoying. The best thing is that it comes in flip-cap tube packaging which is convenient and hygienic. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that you have to re-apply it every time you wash your hands. If you don’t have to wash your hands often, it will keep your hands very moisturized for at least 3-4 hours. This is something, I feel, can be used in the summers too because of its light texture.
