Jessica Phenomen Oil – Intensive Moisturiser

Hello Ladies,

Hope you all are enjoying my fair share of Jessica nail polishes reviews, I have many more coming up so stayed tuned to these. The product I am going to be reviewing for you today is again by Jessica, but it is from their nail treatments range and it is called Jessica Phenomen Oil. Okay so it is truly phenomenal! I discovered this at the salon while getting a manicure and it has saved my nails and cuticles over and over again, and I shall tell you how right below.

My Experience with Jessica Phenomen Oil – Intensive Moisturiser:

The packaging resembles Jessica’s nail colours, however this special oil comes in a frosted glass bottle and a glass pipet (makes me feel like I am a scientist in a lab). The top of the pipet is made of a soft black coloured rubber, which is extremely easy to control as you squeeze the product on to your cuticles. Overall, I am a huge fan of the packaging, I owe this mostly to the cool pipet I get to use during application.

The product looks like a yellow coloured oil in the bottle, but upon application it is just a transparent colourless oil. As for the smell goes, it does not have any significant smell, nothing overpowering or something that would pose as a nuisance at any point. The texture of this product is absolutely thin and light weight. Nothing sticky going on anywhere, but the first thought you receive upon it touching your skin is- ooooh moisturising! All you require is a single minuscule drop of product on each of your finger nails and it shall do its wonderful job.

Jessica Phenomen Oil - Intensive Moisturiser

This is a true story right here, I actually had completely forgotten about this wonder oil, it was sitting untouched on the top of my vanity table, for quiet many days now. And it was only very recently where I re-realised the value of its cuticle saving formula. I need to remove nail paint, apply another colour and then again remove it to apply another colour, so that I am able to take photos of swatches for you all, and this cycle has taken a toll on my cuticles. My cuticles were so abused and the constant usage of nail remover had irritated the skin around my nail beds, my poor cuticles had started to burn, would hurt, and sometimes even bleed. So now you all know that all the skin I attain, is super sensitive and easily irritable. So I need to be extra cautious. Then I caught this miracle oil staring at me one night as I was on my desk completing some assignments, I immediately reached out to it and applied some on my nails. My nails instantly felt relaxed, moisturised and hydrated. The irritation and angst had subsided dramatically with a single application and I was at super relieved.

The one thing that needs to be noted is that, the oil does not get immediately absorbed in your nails and you can still feel it near your fingers unless you want to wipe the excess on a tissue or maybe just apply it on your hands! That works too. The fact that the formula contains jojoba, almond and rice oils, is such a relief, as I am finally able to have soft cuticles that are definitely not inflamed. Instead they are finally a pretty sight again.
