Jill Stuart is an American-Japanese brand which deals in both clothing and beauty, and is known for its quality products and beautiful packaging. My Experience with Jill Stuart Rouge Mai Dress #01 Lady Fascinator Lipstick:
Like the “juicy oil rouge,” this lipstick also comes in a beautiful floral design packaging. The tube itself is a sliver plastic tube and has Jill Stuart engraved on the cap and inside the tube. The shade number is mentioned at the bottom of the tube.
“Rouge Mai Dress in Lady Fascinator” is a peachy-pink coral shade which will look stunning on fair to medium skin tones. The formulation of this lipstick reminds me a lot of “Charlotte Tilbury Kissing” range lipsticks.
This lipstick by Jill Stuart is pigmented and offers full opacity in a single swipe. It also offers satin finish which sits comfortably on the lips and provides proper nourishment and hydration to the lips. It does not bleed around the lips and that helps in applying it withotu a lip liner.
Though it offers full pigmentation, I prefer wearing it as stain, as it looks way flattering on the lips than wearing it in full blown form. It does stain my lips, so I don’t mind sporting it even after the actual color fades off. It fades a little with meals and I need reapplication after meals, but I don’t mind pulling out this beautiful lipstick and showing it off 😛
Lady Fascinator lasts for 4 to 5 hours on me. One thing I hate about this lipstick is that it settles into fine lines on my lips.
