I recently picked up this John Frieda Frizz-Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir from my previous trip to Target. I have been using this oil for my hair for a month already and I cannot stop. With the recent argan oil craze going around, I was excited to give this a chance since I haven’t tried any type of argan oil hair product yet and this did not disappoint.

My Experience with John Frieda Frizz-Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir:

This product comes in a 3 fl oz. plastic bottle. The packaging is very convenient because it has a pump which dispenses just enough product. One pump is all I use to coat my hair and it is just enough. The formula runs clear though I thought it was yellow, but I soon realized it’s just the yellow tint of the bottle. This product is in liquid form. I prefer applying this oil into my hair while it is 75% dry but still a bit damp.

Though the instructions say you can apply to wet or dry hair, but I noticed when I apply to damp hair, it makes my hair even softer while it dries up. Therefore it leaves me with very subtle and natural looking waves. As the product claims, whether I apply it to wet or dry hair, it leaves me with no frizz at all. I usually tend to get frizzy hair right after my hair air dries but when I apply this, my hair ends up frizz free.

Ever since I started using this, I don’t even blow dry my hair anymore, I just apply this and I am ready to go. Aside from getting rid of frizz, it also leaves my hair very shiny and smooth. My hair has been so soft that I just cannot stop touching it. My hair feels and looks silky that even my husband noticed and complimented hehe :). Though I should mention, do not go overboard with the oil, it will definitely make your hair super oily, like any other oil would do, just apply it to your ends. My hair stays frizz free until I wash it again so you never need to reapply it either. The scent of this oil is very mild so it does not clash with your shampoo/conditioner scent which I love plus it has all the great benefits of argan oil, so it does not make me feel guilty for applying a hair product every single day. It also has a moderately small ingredient list which is always a bonus
Overall, this is a great product and I am glad I found this unexpectedly.
