John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Conditioner Review

Hello cuties,

As you all know I have pretty thin and limp hair. Volume is something I am always looking for! A lot of volumizing products have badly failed because they just give a little lift to the roots and not actual volume. And recently I saw some volumizing products from John Freida and just couldn’t wait to try it. Let’s see whether this actually gave me the volume I was looking for or not!

My Experience with John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Conditioner:

The conditioner comes in a super attractive packaging in a deep sea green colour. It is an inverted bottle with a flip cap. Although the quantity is huge, the tube is pretty light weight so I can carry it around easily. The conditioner claims to do a lot of things like detangling, giving volume and shine etc.

The conditioner is white and the consistency thick, hence it is really easy to apply it all over my hair. The moment I apply it, it feels very soothing on my hair. The fragrance is really good and it smells something like an aqua fragrance. It is really refreshing and relaxes me. The fragrance, in fact, stays on my hair the entire day. I usually keep it for 2-3 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water. The conditioner actually detangles my hair pretty quickly and when I wipe my hair, there are no kinks and knots in the hair which usually cause hair-fall.

Now the crisis here is that every time I use this, I have to blow dry my hair to get volume and root lift. I tried air drying my hair after using this and I just got a little volume which was not even noticeable. I did not like this because every time I use this I have to damage my hair. With the blow dryer, yes it gives a lot of volume to the hair and lifts up the roots very well. My hair shaft also looks pretty voluminous compared to its original state. Additionally, it made my hair soft and smooth. It was supposed to moisturise my hair, but this actually dried up my ends which were already very dry. Hence the hair near my scalp appeared very healthy but the ends super damaged and dry. To conclude, I would say that, I use a serum for the ends whenever use this conditioner because volume is something I desperately need. So if you have hair like mine, do try this range out at least once.
