These days anything that claims to reduce stress is picked up without a second thought. Anything for a relaxed mind and body. I had no idea that Johnson’s made products for adults until I came across Johnson’s Body Care – Melt Away Stress Daily Calming Lotion in Singapore.  I guess adult products from Johnson’s are yet to be launched in India. I love the smell of all their baby products, so I fell in love with the fragrance of this lotion instantly.

Enriched with chamomile and Aromasoothe fragrance with hints of lavender and moon flower.  With gentle massage, it moisturizes and helps melt away daily tension.

My Experience with Johnson’s Melt Away Stress Daily Calming Lotion:

The lotion comes in a pastel lavender coloured bottle with a pump dispenser.  The fragrance is really divine. It smells of chamomile with undertones of moonflower and lavender. Chamomile and lavender are known for their relaxing properties. The fragrance stays on for quite some time.  I would say it lasts for at least a couple of hours after applying. The lotion itself is white in colour. The consistency is a little runny and but the texture is really light.

The lotion gets absorbed immediately without leaving behind any greasy feeling. It leaves the skin soft and supple and really hydrated. The company mentions that the lotion “with aromasoothe” helps melt away daily tension and promotes better sleep at night – “breathe deeply and massage over entire deeply.” I have not used this lotion at night as yet, but it does bring a calming effect to certain extent during the day. I guess it is a form of aromatherapy with chamomile and lavender acting as stress reducing fragrances, but I am in love with this lotion.

• Leaves the skin feeling soft, supple and hydrated.
• Very easily absorbed.
• Does not leave behind any greasy or oily layer.
• Works in reducing stress and calming nerves to a certain extent

Cons of Johnson’s Melt Away Stress Daily Calming Lotion:

• Not available in India yet.
• May not work for very dry skin.
• Not really suitable for winters.
