I’m back with my reviews. Today’s review will be on a very winter-y lipstick. Let’s get started!

My Experience with Jordana 01 Sugar Plum Easyshine Glossy Lip Color:

Packaging: It comes in a very sleek, colour-coded packaging. The cap is long and transparent, and fits very snugly. The body has silver accents to it which complements the overall look of the lipstick. The lipstick doesn’t fully go into the tube, which is the reason you often end up chipping some of the lipstick. Overall, I like how travel friendly and sleek the packaging is.

Colour/Pigmentation: ‘Sugar Plum’ is a beautiful raspberry shade. It’s the perfect shade for the winters. It is nicely pigmented and you can build up the colour to your liking as well. This shade suits all Indian skin tones beautifully.

Texture: The texture is very smooth and it glides on super easily on dry lips as well. It has a bit of a creamy texture. It moisturises my lips when the product is on my lips. It gives a glossy finish as the product’s name suggests. It does transfer to cups and glasses, but the glossy finish is still there even after light meals.

Staying Power: I was overall impressed with this lipstick, but I’m not so happy with the staying power. It stays for about 3 hours and fades with meals and drinks in between. If applied as a stain, it stays for 5 hours approx.

Smell/Taste: It smells like grapes, which I like. The fragrance is not too serious. It’s mild and goes away immediately. It tastes just a wee bit bitter. Again, nothing too important to notice.

Verdict:
I still like this lipstick despite its cons because I mostly apply it as a stain. If you like the shade and are willing to overlook the staying power, you might as well get it! 🙂
