Jordana 07 Golden Rays Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil Review

Today, I will be reviewing an eyeshadow pencil from Jordana. I’m really loving these, for they are supereasy to use. I have reviewed 01 Pitch Black before.

My Experience with Jordana 07 Golden Rays Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil Review:

Packaging: This pencil comes in chubby wooden pencil form and is colour coded. The cap is transparent and fits a tad loose; hence, this pencil cannot be thrown into a bag just like that.
The body has golden details printed on it and you have to sharpen up the pencil. A lot of product wastage occurs due to that. Anyway, the packaging is nice and handy.

Colour: I like how this pencil has been named; “Golden Rays” is a gorgeous golden colour. It looks like a metallic shade, like foil eyeshadows. It looks great as a kajal too. It is highly pigmented and one stroke is enough for the colour to show up.

Texture: I really did not think that this pencil would have such a smooth and creamy texture. While that is a big plus for me, the flip side is that since it is so creamy, it tends to crease and smudge a lot. It doesn’t smudge that bad when used as a base or an eyeshadow itself. You just have to set it with a matching eyeshadow so that it doesn’t move on your lids. It might be a good option for dry lids, but oily lids should just stay away or set it quickly.

Staying power: As a kajal, it stays for slightly longer than when used as an eyeshadow. The staying power when used as a kajal is about 5-6 hours with smudging and as an eye shadow, it is 4 hours but with a lot of creasing.

• Decent staying power when used as a kajal.
