After lipsticks, my next craze is with blushes. And, if they come in cute packaging – what more can I ask for! So, when I spotted these Jordana Color Tint Blush Stick, I instantly fell for the way they look. I picked up three shades and I’m in love with them. Let’s begin with Apple Cheeks.

Touch onto apples of cheeks, then softly blend color up cheekbone toward temple with fingertips. A little goes a long way!

My Experience with Jordana Apple Cheeks Color Tint Blush Stick:

Jordana Color Tint Blush Stick comes in a cute, little chubby stick form. The body of the stick is made of plastic and the packaging is color coded, according to the individual shades. This makes it super easy to locate a particular shade if you own more than one of these. This is a twist up blush in a convenient stick form that you can apply directly onto the cheeks or use your fingertips to apply and blend it. The blush stick is convenient to use and a great thing to have if one is in a hurry as you can just pop it in your bag and apply it easily anywhere as you don’t require an additional brush along with it to apply. The swivel mechanism is smooth and sturdy. Overall, the packaging is great and easy to carry.

Apple Cheeks is a lovely, red blush with absolutely no sheen or shimmer. After blending the blush, you get soft, reddish-pink color on the cheeks. The color lifts the face completely and makes you look nice and fresh. It complements both pink and red lip colors really well. Despite being a ‘RED’ blush, it doesn’t look too unnatural. In fact, you can pull it off easily during the daytime as well.

The texture of this stick blush is creamy and smooth. It leaves a very dewy finish on the skin. If you are a total matte blush lover, you might not like the dewy finish it imparts. And, it might make the cheeks of oily skinned ladies look a bit greasy too. But to dry skinned ladies, this will give a beautiful, glowy finish.

Apple Cheeks is quite pigmented, so a little will go a long way. But, you can dab this directly on the cheeks without worrying about going overboard as it is easy to blend and wouldn’t look patchy and streaky.

The staying power of this blush can vary as per the base that you are wearing underneath it, like BB/CC cream or foundation etc. But overall, I get around 4-6 hours of wear time, if worn over a sheer base of BB cream. After that, it starts to fade away. But, it fades away gradually and doesn’t get patchy as it fades.

This blush has a powdery, floral scent to it that disappears once you have the blush on your cheeks. If you are sensitive to fragrance in your cosmetics, you might have some troubles with it during application, but the good part is that the fragrance doesn’t linger around.

Overall, Jordana Apple Cheeks Color Tint Blush Stick is a lovely red and creamy blush that comes in a cute packaging. It gives a nice pinkish-red flush of color to the cheeks. The blush is smooth in texture and very well pigmented. It comes at an unbelievable price and the shade would go well with both pink and red lip colors. Highly recommended this to everyone looking out for a good red blush! 🙂
