Jordana Cosmetics Blushed Color Tint Blush Stick Review

Hi lovely ladies!!!

I’m a matte makeup lover. I hate anything with shimmer or sheen in it. I was so impressed with the previous color tint blushes from Jordana, that I picked up this blush though it had significant amount of shimmer to it. Though I picked up this blush with all enthusiasm, I could never muster up the courage to use it. But after trying out this blush, I must say a little bit of sheen to the cheeks certainly does impart some natural healthy glow . So, without wasting time, let me review Jordana color tint blush stick in the shade Blushed.

Touch onto apples of cheeks, then softly blend color up cheekbone toward temple with fingertips. A little goes a long way! Use after foundation or apply directly to skin before using powder.

My experience with Jordana Cosmetics Blushed Color Tint Blush Stick:

Jordana color tint blush stick comes in a cute, little chubby stick form. The body of the stick is made of plastic and the packaging is color coded according to the individual shades. This makes it super easy to locate the shade if you own more than one of these. This is a twist up blush in a convenient stick form that you can apply directly on the cheeks or use your fingertips. The blush stick is convenient to use and a great thing to have if one is in a hurry; as you can just pop it in your bag and apply it easily anywhere as you don’t require and additional brush along with it to apply. The swivel mechanism is smooth and sturdy, overall, the packaging is great and easy to carry.

Blushed is a lovely coral-ly peach blush color with a subtle golden shimmer to it. The shimmer is quite finely distributed so it goes evenly upon application. It’s not chunky or glittery kind. And just a swipe of color from the blush stick gives a nice glow on your cheeks. The blush would work as a golden highlighter, for women with medium complexion, and would give a soft peachy pinky glow for women with fair complexion. But the color might not work for darker complexioned beauties.

The texture of this stick blush is creamy and smooth, it leaves a very dewy finish on the skin. If you are a total matte blush lover then you might not like the dewy finish it gives. The dewy finish topped with the golden shimmer might make the cheeks of oily-skinned ladies look a bit greasy. But for dry skinned ladies, this will give a beautiful glowy finish.

This blush is quite pigmented, so a little will go a long way. But you can dab this directly on the cheeks without the use of any makeup brush. Make sure you don’t go overboard with the blush or the shimmer in the blush will highlight the pores and might even give you a disco ball look.

Staying power of this blush can vary depending on whether you have a base of BB/CC/ foundation underneath the blush. But overall I get about 4-6 hours of wear if worn over a sheer base of BB cream before I start to notice fading. It fades away gradually and doesn’t get patchy as it fades.

This blush has a powdery, floral scent to it that disappears once you have the blush on your cheeks. If you are sensitive to fragrance in your cosmetics, you might have some troubles with it during application, but the good part is that the fragrance doesn’t linger around.

Overall, Jordana color tint blush stick in blushed is a lovely coral-ly peach blush with golden shimmer. The texture, lasting power, blendability, price..everything is perfect. Even if you are a matte blush lover like me, then you should definitely try this blush, cause trying something at this price doesn’t hurt even if you don’t like it;)
