There I was, buying something else and ended up buying a new lippie invariably. This time it’s a Jordana USA product and let me first throw some light on the brand before proceeding.
About the brand :
Jordana Cosmetics is a family-owned business headquartered in Los Angeles, California. For over 25 years, Jordana’s philosophy has been to offer every woman the chance to experience superior quality, fashion forward cosmetics at extremely affordable prices. They offer everything you can think of, right from lipsticks to glosses to balms to eyeliners, concealers and everything else you need to complete your vanity.
About the Easy shine glossy lipcolour:
What caught my attention was the striking resemblance of this product with the MaxFactor Xperience Boutique Sheer Gloss Balm Red Garnet. I loved that product to the core but never re-bought it. You will find out why as we proceed ahead.
These are basically glossy lipcolours which give you high intense glossy shine with a whole lot of colour too. The packaging is surely attractive enough to reach out for a try. The transparent cap shuts with a click and the bottom half is same as the shade of the lipcolour. The shade name and its manufacturing details are mentioned on the tube.
Coming to the texture, it is velvety soft yet not realyl fragile .You can comfortably swipe it. It sticks to its name of Easy shine and glides on very smoothly lending a beautiful shade which is reddish with a slight hint of pink in it. It is not as sheer as the Maxfactor one and covers pigmentation but not signs of chapped lips. It lends much darker pigmentation than the Maxfactor and also smells really nice though I liked the Maxfactor shade more..Maxfactor didn’t have a strong smell but this one smells and tastes very sweet. And it lingers around for quite a while. Of course being glossy its transfers a lot so I warn the girls again to save their BFs from some grounding at home.
It smells better than Maxfactor, stays for longer than it, is more pigmented and that too at half the price! Maxfactor was for around 550 and this is for Rs. 250! I liked the fact that they are not fooling us by saying its some ‘Lip Blam plus Gloss’ as Max factor did that, but it did nothing for the lips! These too are just moisturising for a while and are not healing balms. Staying power is just like any other good gloss .Leaves a faint tint behind.
Word of caution: Use this as a night wear. We may scare the day lights out of people if we wear this in the day with other makeup on. You may choose to just dab it with your fingers n the lips for a tinted balm like effect.

Frown as Jordana Easy Shine Lip Color – Sweet Strawberry :
I think it is a tad too glossy for me as Iam a matte lover!
