Till now I have used The Body Shop black mono eye shadow and Faces Canada brow brush to will my brows, however, I saw this new launch by Jordana and decided to give a try to a dedicated brow pencil for a change. I have used only black shades in past to line my brow but at times they give me creepy look so I decided to buy a black – brown shade for a softer look.

My Take on Jordana Midnight Brown Fabubrow Eyebrow Pencil:
My eye brows have a nice shape naturally and in the name of threading I just tweeze out some stray hairs and nothing more, however, I do like to fill my brow once in a while to flaunt a better groomed look. When in hurry I usually skip this step mostly because it consumes another 30 seconds however, with a brow pencil, this time can be reduced.
Packaging: Pencil is a two in one with brow wax and a grooming brush at the cap. I like the look of the pencil as it comes in the color of the wax which has a matte finish.
Texture: The brow pencil is waxy and just the right amount. A little goes a long way in this case and a few strokes here and there are enough to cover the brow. Brow brush then can be used to evenly distribute the product and get a well defined look.
Color: Black brown color which blends well with natural hair color.
Pigmentation: Good pigmentation which is not a positive thing for a brow pencil, however, if one gets a hang of this product one can decide how much product is required to get a natural look. Don’t go overboard with it or one might get a creepy look.
Shimmer and Shine: No shimmer and shine; it is a matte finish brow pencil and looks natural.
Wear Time: Entire day and does not transfer.
Conclusion: This is a good product and worth a try. There are 6 shades available, which I guess can cover all types of hair on brow line – it varies from taupe to black. They look very smooth and give a natural finish even on close inspection. They are not phony like other super waxy pencils which gives a fake look as if one stuck a pair of eye brows.

No, because it will last me a long time and besides I might want to try out other brands by the time I run out of it. I totally recommend it to the readers.

I have also started trying eyebrow pencils. I use the one by Essence and its packaging and shade is very similar to this one. Might try this one after that. 🙂
