I absolutely love this lipstick and the reason I’m so excited to review it is so more people can come to know of this amazing lipstick. It is Jordana Matte lipstick in the shade Matte Tease. My experience with Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick in Matte Tease:

It comes in a sleek plastic packaging. The color of the bottom half of the lipstick tube matches the shade of the lipstick and it comes with a clear plastic cap. It is simple and fuss free packaging. Other than the cap being of a little cheap quality, all is good about the packaging. it is travel-friendly too.

The shade of this lipstick is THE best part about it, of course. It is a very beautiful summery light pink color with cool undertones. But it is one such shade that will work for most skin tones. Looks absolutely gorgeous when on. I have been wearing this lipstick so often (I know the picture says otherwise, but that is because I clicked the pics right when I got it which was almost 2 months back). It is a MLBB shade for me and I have been wearing this lipstick so often; more often than I have worn any other lipstick. I know that availability of Jordana lipsticks is a problem in India but the closest dupe of this available in India is Revlon’s Matte Balm in Elusive which is almost the same shade and texture.

Coming to the texture now; I love how it is a true matte lipstick considering how many lipsticks out there claim to be matte but end up being more creamy instead. This one is matte and moisturizing! It does not dry up the lips and does not accentuate lines on the lips even though it is a matte lipstick. Even though it feels creamy on the lips, it does not have that creamy/ creamy-matte finish, it is “just matte”. The pigmentation is perfection and all it takes is 2 swipes to give a pretty pink on the lips. it stays on me for 3+ hours and then it vanishes completely leaving no stain behind. I don’t have a problem with its staying time because I can happily reapply a lipstick so pretty in color whenever need be.

Pros of Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick in Matte Tease:

• The shade is very summery and pretty
• One such shade that will suit most skin tones; MLBB shade for me.
• Smooth and creamy in texture
• Decent packaging
• Decent pigmentation
• Affordably priced
• Does not dry out the lips
• Even though it’s not available in India, it is a dupable shade and Revlon’s matte balm in Elusive is the closest dupe I can think of.

Cons of Jordana Matte lipstick in 04 Matte Tease:

• Availability in India.
• Staying power may be a con for some; not for me though
• The cap seems easily breakable.

Will I repurchase it / do I recommend Jordana Matte lipstick in 04 Matte Tease?
Yes and yes.
