Today’s review is going to be on a blush. When it comes to blushes I am not a huge fan of pinks and rather prefer peach and coral and other warm toned blushes. I wanted to buy a good matte neutral blush since long as everyone must have a neutral blush along with a pink and peach, but as I have just started experimenting with them I did not wanted to spend much on it. I had seen some great reviews on Jordana blushes on IMBB itself, and was fascinated to try one. So I bought this one some time back.

My Experience with Jordana Powder Blush Mocha:

The packaging is really average; it comes in a silver round plastic compact with a transparent screw on lid, which makes it easy to locate it. The shade name and other details are mentioned on the backside. At first in the pan the blush looks very boring and unflattering as it looks like a plain brown, but trusts me it does not fail to show its magic on cheeks. The shade mocha is a warm beige color and is a perfect neutral blush for me. It is very similar to Mac Gingerly the slight difference being in undertones as gingerly has orange undertones whereas this one has neutral undertones. This is a matte shade and perfect for daily office wear when you just want to look polished without much color. This shade looks good with many lipsticks; it goes best with a red lipstick and also with heavy eye makeup. As it is neutral it goes well and pink, coral and orange lipsticks as well.

The texture and pigmentation is great I was not expecting it would be this good considering the price it comes at. It is very pigmented but comes of sheer, when you swipe your fingers in it you will get good color payoff, but when swirled with a brush and applied it is not that harsh and you won’t end up looking like a clown. With 2 layers I get complete color payoff, but if you load up your bush and apply it heavy handedly then it might look dark, so it best to layer it twice. The powder is finely milled and the texture is not that smooth, it is not very soft. There is absolutely no fallout with this one. When applied it gives a slight hint of color and gives a good definition to my face and gives a Kim K like glow on face. If I go overboard with it looks like I have been in the sun for hours, so I have to be careful. It stays for a good 4 hours on my oily skin after which it fades; it will last longer on dry skin. It blends easily and does not look patchy.
