My Experience with Jordana Powder Blush – Terracotta Treasure:

Jordana introduced some new shades in their very popular “powder blush” range by the end of last year.  “Terracotta Treasure” is one such new shade.

Packaging:

The blush comes in a round grey plastic case with a transparent lid with a silver border. The lid is not the type that flips open, but rather which needs to be screwed off/on. The lid closes securely and the blush is quite small and travel friendly. The transparent lid makes it easier to see the blush color without opening the lid. There is no mirror or brush provided with this blush, which is totally acceptable for the price! You get 2.2 gm of product here.

Color and Pigmentation:

“Terracotta Treasure” is a very intense burnt coral red shade. It is one of the most pigmented blushes I have ever used. Because of the extreme pigmentation, you need to be really careful with this. You can easily go overboard with this and end up with clown cheeks! Happened to me many times! Apply as little as possible, and build up as needed. The color and pigmentation make it a beautiful blush for dusky skin.

Texture and Finish:

“Terracotta Treasure” is a matte finish blush, but at the same time, it is not drying. The texture is very soft and smooth. As long as you take a minimal amount of product on your brush, you can blend it out beautifully.

Scent:

The blush contains talc and like most products with talc, it smells like baby powder. I don’t mind the smell at all, but some people may be sensitive to the smell of talc.

Longevity:

The blush lasts on my very oily for over 6 hours at least, being such an intense shade.

  • Excellent pigmentation.
  • Non-drying matte finish.
  • Silky soft texture which blends beautifully.
  • Decent lasting power.
  • Secure travel-friendly packaging.
  • Inexpensive.

Cons of Jordana Powder Blush – Terracotta Treasure:

  • Need to apply carefully since the color is so intense.
