Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color Tiramisu Review

I recently bought two new liquid lipsticks from the brand Jordana. I recently reviewed one of them, a warm brown shade – “Cinnamon Toast” and in this review, I have written about the second shade – Tiramisu. I am an avid fan of matte lipstick shades because they make me look classy and these days, the makeup industry is inundated with liquid lipsticks from each and every brand and each brand has multiple kind of liquid lipstick, so needless to say, we have so many options to choose from. My Experience with Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color Tiramisu:

This liquid lipstick comes in 18 shades and they all vary from reds to n*des to corals with warm and cool tones, hence there is at least one shade for all of us. The size of the tube is smaller than most of the liquid lipsticks we see in the market but since most of us do not finish lip products hence I do not see this as a disadvantage.

The packaging of this liquid lipstick is like most of the liquid lipstick tubes we see in the makeup aisles. he product comes in a transparent, plastic tube through which we can see the color of the lipstick and it has a twist-up cap. The cap holds the usual doe-foot applicator which makes application easier especially, around the corners and the outline.

The color of this particular shade is cool-toned pink and in the past, I have always avoided wearing such shades because I always felt that they stand out on my face in an obvious way and hence I always seek solace in browns and reds, but of late, I have become more daring with my lipstick shade collection and have started wearing some pinks as well. The applicator helped me reach the corners of my lips well and outline my lips neatly. It did not give complete opacity in the first application, but it was not too disappointing, especially for the money paid. With the second coat, I achieve complete coverage and a neat finish.

The product has a strong, artificial fragrance which is a big let-down, the staying power is not bad so long as I don’t eat and most importantly, it does not dry out lips like most other liquid lipsticks, however, it is better than Colorpop liquid lipsticks which are just too uncomfortable to wear. These lipsticks by Jordana perform better with a mild lip balm underneath.

Pros of Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color Tiramisu:

• It is an affordable liquid lipstick that comes in 18 different shades. Someone new to liquid lipsticks can surely give them a try.
• There is at least one shade for each skin tone.
• The packaging does not feel cheap or flimsy, especially for the money paid.
• It gives good coverage in two coats.
• It lasts well till we have a greasy meal.
• It does not dry out lips like other products but is not very uncomfortable either.

Cons of Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color Tiramisu:

• It has a very strong fragrance which would mean high alcohol content and is off putting for me.
• One coat is not enough to get full coverage.
• It will not last during meals.
• It needs a lip balm underneath for comfortable wear.

These liquid lipsticks are a good effort by Jordana to provide consumers with a more affordable liquid lipstick option. It performs well for the money paid and I do recommend it to others so long as they don’t mind the strong fragrance.
