I have with me today one of the bestselling products from Sephora, that is the Josie Maran Whipped Mud Mask. I have used a couple of Josie Maran products including her famous line of argan oil and body butter. I am pleasantly impressed by the quality of products that she offers, only they are a bit on the expensive side.

How to Use:

The mud mask comes in a very heavy glass jar with a gold lid that looks very chic but is bulky. The product information is printed in gold. The mask has a lavender shade with some exfoliants.

My Experience with Josie Maran Lavender Citrus Whipped Mud Mask Argan Hydrating and Detoxifying Treatment:

I have been using this mask for over 2 months now and I believe I can give an honest review about its benefits. There are a couple of variants which come in different colors and fragrances; the one I got is the ‘lavender citrus’. The jar is made of glass and hence is quite heavy but feels really luxurious.

I use this mask on washed skin and apply a thin layer on my face, avoiding the eye area and leave it on for 15 minutes. The smell is very nice and gives a spa experience in the house. The lavender mint blend is very relaxing for me as I love lavender fragrance. The mask has a very thick creamy texture with some mild exfoliants.

The application process is simple and uncomplicated. The mask dries out as a clay mask but is not too stretchy on my skin. I use a damp towel to wipe off the mask from my face. The facial skin looks visibly clean and radiant after using this mask.

I do use the mask on my face regularly and I am happy that it has made a visible difference. It does live up to its huge price tag. I have been using it before special occasions or just as a treat for myself. I am loving the soft, radiant and supple feel on my skin.

I would surely recommend this mask. But, would love it if it were a little cheaper because the amount of the product is meagre for the money I paid.
