When it comes to hydrating products for the body, I mostly get inclined towards the drugstore brands basically because of two reasons – there are some really great lotions and moisturizers at the drugstore and also they are pretty affordable. But I guess, a little bit of spending for trying a much-raved high-end product for the body is not bad. So, let’s get into the review of Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Butter in Tropical Orchid.

My Experience with Josie Maran Tropical Orchid Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter:
Packaging: This luxurious feeling body cream comes in a nice and handy tub with a screw lid. This does have an outer cardboard packaging with all details about the product on it. The best part about the packaging is that, the cream tub has a safety seal so that one can be sure that no one has messed with it before purchasing, but for any product that I take into my bathroom, I just prefer a tube packaging so that water does not enter into the product and tube packaging it from becoming gross.
Color and Texture: The Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Butter in Tropical Orchid is a white-colored cream which looks like any other body cream. The texture of this baby is very rich and creamy, yet not greasy. The lightweight texture absorbs instantly and restores skin’s softness and texture. This is a rich cream which hydrates the skin really well and is so lovely to feel and use. It provides just the correct amount of hydration with the benefits of some great ingredients.
Smell: This baby smells very fruity and floral at the same time. I am really bad at explaining scents, but this fragrance is very refreshing. I am not sure if everyone likes the fruity plus floral scent, but I guess most people would like it. The smell is not overpowering at all and even sensitive noses can enjoy this mild fragrance. Also, the scent does not linger on the skin, so it won’t mix up with the perfume or body lotion used after that.
Quality: I pretty much like this body cream and really enjoy the beautiful creamy texture. Having said that, I do not feel the need to grab this baby every time because my Nivea Q10 Body Lotion does the exact same thing at a fraction of the price, but this can be a great cream to pamper the body on special occasions when I turn my bathroom into a spa!

I will get the full-sized version of this body cream and preserve it for my special spa weekends. It’s a great option for pampering yourself, but in terms of performance, it’s not very spectacular. So, it’s up to you ladies whether you want to spend a few extra bucks or just go for great drugstore options!
