My Experience with Jovees Activated Charcoal Detoxifying Face Wash:

Beginning the review with the packaging of the product. The face wash comes in a big easy squeeze tube. The tube is matte black in color, which signifies the charcoal range. It has beautiful slanting glossy black stripes, which looks really pretty. The packaging is simple yet beautiful. The entire product related information is printed at the back of the tube. The tube closes securely with a big metallic silver screw-on type cap. The cap closes securely and makes the tube leak-proof. The size of the nozzle is just perfect and it dispenses the product easily. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly.

The cleanser is slate grey in color and it has very fine white colored micro particles, which diffuses upon rubbing and can be seen if observed very minutely. The fragrance of the face wash is somewhat artificial and is not too pleasing, but it is mild and hence it is not really bothersome either. The smell fades away completely upon washing. So, it is not bothersome for people with sensitive noses.

The consistency is slightly on a runnier side. It is neither too thick and creamy nor too runny. It feels so smooth more like a foaming cleanser. The smooth consistency helps to spread the product easily without much effort. But, I need a good coin-sized amount of the product to cleanse my face and neck properly. It lathers amazingly well and creates a lot of foam. It glides easily on the skin and feels so smooth and creamy while massaging on the skin. The formula is lightweight and not thick or sticky like some other cleansing foam. It is easy to wash off with normal water. It gets removed completely without leaving any residue behind. It does not feel slippery after washing.

The face wash has decent cleansing properties. It cleanses my skin well and helps to remove all the dirt and grime perfectly. It instantly gives me a nice squeaky-clean feeling. It instantly brightens up the complexion and makes my face look bright and glowing. It helps eliminate dullness from the skin. The results last for around 2-3 hours. It also removes oil from my face without drying my skin. The face wash is neither drying nor really moisturizing. It does not snatch skin moisture and maintains the right amount hydration in the skin. So, my skin does not feel dry or stretchy after use. So, my skin does not feel uncomfortable if I didn’t apply my moisturizer immediately after washing. It makes my skin soft and smooth to touch. The face wash removes dead skin cells and makes my skin look lively and revived. It cleanses my skin pore by pore and clears up clogged pores. My skin did not break out when I had used this face wash. The brand also claims it to be fit for acne-prone skin.
