My Experience with Jovees Eye Liner + Black:
Jovees Eye Liner comes in a black and golden colored cardboard packaging. I really like the packaging as it looks fancy. The eyeliner itself comes in a luxe black and gold colored long tube. The handle is pretty long. Depending on the pressure you apply, the super sharp brush allows you to create thin and thick lines, which I love. The product is super sleek and can be tossed into your makeup pouch without fearing about any leakage.
The eyeliner is jet black in colour. It glides smoothly on the eyes. By the time you make your wing, the liner is completely dry. Yes, it dries up that quickly! It has a slightly thicker formula but that’s okay. I love the intense black color. It kind of beats Lakme Insta Liner’s blackness, which is great. When you swatch it on the hand, it feels like a regular liner but, it shows its true color on the lids.
The finish of this eyeliner is shiny, but not too much. It looks nice and slightly glossy. Jovees claims, it is waterproof and, yes it is! I wore this and washed my face with a face wash but, it didn’t come off entirely. I’d say 2-3% of the eyeliner was gone, but the rest stayed intact. This eyeliner stays throughout the day on the eyelids and looks as if you’ve freshly applied it.
It doesn’t budge or smudge and lives up to its claims. When the S.A. swatched the eyeliner on my hand, it smudged after 3 hours but, on the lids, it doesn’t smudge at all. It, in fact, peels off like the regular peel off lipsticks! It comes off easily if you dampen your lids and then, use a wet wipe. It doesn’t blacken the area near your eyes and doesn’t create any mess as well. I wore this for 10 hours, and it looked exactly like how it was when I had applied it in the morning. It lasted amazingly well on me throughout the day. Overall, I’m super impressed with this one!
