Jovees Jojoba and Neem Face Scrub
Hello beauties..!!
Winter has arrived and my skin has been turning dry lately. I have extremely oily skin during summers which turns into combination skin type during winters. And above all of this I have sensitive skin. So I mostly resort to using herbal products in my daily routine. I had bought a toner, peel off mask and this scrub from Jovees. The SA had told me that it would definitely help me in controlling oil and at the same time would not make my skin dry. The scrub was meant to be use by oily and sensitive skinned people and boasted of all natural ingredients, thus I thought of giving it a try. During my early teens, I had some pimples on my face but they have gradually reduced (touchwood).
Product description:
Oily and sensitive skin needs special cleaning. This gentle scrub contains fine Jojoba beads and neem along with other botanical nutrients that cleans the skin, removes excessive oil and dull skin cells without rupturing the skin. It also helps to improve skin elasticity and suppleness.
Method of use:
Moisten face and neck. Apply Jojoba and Neem scrub all over the face and neck. Massage gently with finger tips for 2-3 minutes using light circular strokes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Preferably follow with Jovees Aloe Vera Moisturising Lotion.

My take on Jovees Jojoba and Neem Face Scrub:
Scrubbing is a very important part of my skin regime. I scrub my face using a mild scrub every alternate day otherwise there is formation of blackheads and small pores. This scrub from Jovees comes in a plastic tube with a flip cap. The cap closes tightly and is travel-friendly. While taking out the scrub, you need to take care that you don’t squeeze out excess product otherwise it would stick around the nozzle and dry out creating a mess. It has minute white jojoba particles and a bit bigger green neem particles. The granules do not feel harsh on skin.
As it has gel consistency, you need to take a bit more product than the usual scrub but still one tube would last pretty long. After using this scrub I apply Nivea oil regulating toner and oil stays away for 2-3 hours during winter. It won’t be of much use during summers as it won’t be able to keep oil at bay for longer hours. It does help in removing dead cells. If used regularly it helps in controlling blackheads also. After washing away the scrub your skin doesn’t feel dry but squeaky clean with a little bit of suppleness. I haven’t seen any improvement in my skin elasticity and neither was I using this scrub for the same results.
Pros of Jovees Jojoba and Neem Face Scrub:
• Affordable
• Easily available.
• Does basic job of cleaning very well.
• Doesn’t feel harsh on skin.
• Doesn’t dry out the skin.
• Even if used regularly, the tube would last 1.5-2 months.
• Would suit dry-skinned beauties during summers and oily-skinned during winter.
Cons of Jovees Jojoba and Neem Face Scrub:
• No complete list of ingredients.
• Not meant for oily skinned people during summer.
• Doesn’t keep oil away for a long time if not followed up with a toner.
IMBB Rating:
4/5
