Jovees Lavender Lip Balm Review

Today’s review is on Jovees Lavender Lip Balm. I am not a fan of lip balms and have had bad experiences with them. I was in Dubai for a few months earlier and bought a Nivea lip balm. The lady there gave me a pink, shiny, glossy lip balm and I went home and applied it – that thing made my lips look hideous, pale, shiny. That’s why I was never into lip balms, but recently I went to a store and bought this cute little tub of lip balm.

My Experience with Jovees Lavender Lip Balm:

This lip balm comes in a small 5 gm plastic tub with a green color screw lid and transparent tub. The lip balm is light purple in color. Some people may not find this kind of a tub packaging hygienic but I don’t have any major issue. The tub is sturdy enough to carry in our handbags. If I feel my lips are feeling dry in winter days, I usually apply almond oil, but this product got my attention (mainly because of the price). The texture is not at all glossy or shiny, and it was a relief for me.

I already have “plumped up lips” so I don’t need shiny or glossy lip balms. This lip balm from Jovees feels like Vaseline but it’s a less stickier. It’s perfect to apply when you are going to because it’s totally transparent and does have any pigmentation or color. Although the effects are not long lasting, like other lip balms, you have to keep reapplying it. Fragrance is lavender-ish flowery which is quite relaxing. On application, it is a clear lip balm, no tint of color. Lips feel instantly smooth and moisturized.
