Hope you all are doing great. Here I come up with one more review. I should admit that now I have started experimenting with my skin care regime up to some extent. I do change my products but there is some research phase on the product before I start using it completely. I thoroughly go through the ingredient list and until and unless I am fully satisfied, I just don’t start using it. I had never used anything from the brand Jovees as I was never ever attracted towards this particular brand with no particular reasons at all. This phase ended and I really started exploring this brand after reading all the good reviews here on our blog. The product I will be reviewing here is “Jovees Pearl Whitening Face Wash” and this is my first product ever from Jovees and here I start.

Product Description:

This special pearl series product has been developed using nano-technology. The nano skin care technology involves the inclusion of nano particles in the range of 100-140 microns within the products that can get deeper into the skin to produce beneficial results and is produced at the state-of-the-art manufacturing plant that ensures both active and base ingredients are treated with utmost care to give optimum results.
This pearl whitening face wash effectively removes impurities, helps to remove discoloration, maintain fair skin.

Method Of Use:

Massage onto wet skin. Work in to lather and rinse.

Active Ingredients:

Pearl Powder, Bearberry Fruit extract, Alpha Hydroxy Acid( derived from Vitis Vinifera), Liquorice Extract, Soya Protein Extract.

Packaging:

The face wash comes in a pearly white opaque tube with a grey colored flip cap which shuts tightly and hence prevents any leakage. You need to be careful while taking out the product as a little more pressure on the tube can end up in wastage of the product.

Price:

245 INR for 60 ml.

Shelf Life:

3 years.

My Experience with Jovees Pearl Whitening Face Wash:

I have been using this face wash religiously from the past 10 days and thought it would be fair enough on my part to do a review now. The face wash smells very pleasant and the fragrance is a mixture of berries and some creamy aroma. The smell is not at all bothering, in fact it lifts up the mood at the very moment I start massaging it for lathering. It produces a thick, smooth lather when massaged for some time.

Once you rinse it off the face, a squeaky clean and visibly bright skin is what you get. The skin is soft to touch and very smooth, refreshed. It does dry out the skin a bit (consider the fact that I have oily skin, how would it result for dry/normal skin?), but nothing that my normal moisturizer cannot take care of. I am left with fresh and clean skin every time I use this. There is no slippery feeling while rinsing that makes you use loads of water. It rinses out without leaving any residue behind. The face wash is pearly in color with normal consistency. You just need a pea-sized amount for your whole face and neck. You need to massage it onto your skin for around 20 seconds and you are done.

Pros of Jovees Pearl Whitening Face Wash:

• Pleasant smell.
• Pearly color of the face wash.
• Skin nourishing active ingredients.
• Gives you a squeaky clean feeling.
• Controls oiliness on your face for a long time.
• With regular usage, you definitely would notice a smoother skin.
• A small amount is required per wash, so one tube would last for a long time.

Cons of Jovees Pearl Whitening Face Wash:

• A bit expensive for the quantity, but I would say that every penny you spend is worth it.
• Only the list of active ingredients is given.
• Dries your skin up to some extent.

Finally, I would mention that I love this face wash and would recommend this to all oily/combination skin people. People with dry/normal skin can stay away from this though it is mentioned that it is meant for all skin types. Please don’t expect the whitening thing to happen.
