Summer is here, and we all must have a good sunscreen in our vanity. Be it winter or monsoon, I always use a sunscreen. I love my Lotus Matte Sunscreen gel but, I picked this one up as I don’t have a water-resistant sun block. So, let’s see how it fared for me!

My Experience with Jovees Sun Guard Lotion SPF 60 PA+++:
Jovees Sun Guard Lotion comes in a white and gold colored pump packaging. It comes with a transparent cap to protect the pump head from germs. The pump dispenser works nicely and dispenses the appropriate amount of product. The details about the sunscreen are printed along the body. Though the packaging is slightly bulky still, it can be easily carried around.
This white colored sunscreen lotion has a very familiar fragrance almost like a mixture of sandalwood and woody fragrances. Precisely, it isn’t that typical sunscreen fragrance, which I like. The lotion is slightly thick, but if you use just one pump on your face and neck, it won’t feel heavy at all. It sinks into the skin immediately without leaving any residue behind.
Since its a white coloured sunscreen, I thought, it would leave a white cast or would look oily and feel heavy on the skin. But, I’m so glad that it does none of it. It is lightweight and feels like a day cream or a light moisturizer. Actually, I skip using a lotion because this sunscreen moisturizes my skin well.
It is meant for oily skinned people, and this is one sunscreen that they will enjoy wearing. It doesn’t make you sweat or clog your pores. It has SPF 60 PA+++ and is water resistant, which is great if you are going to a beach or for swimming. I use this sunscreen as is, and it’s like a 2-in-1 product. You can skip a moisturizer as it moisturizes your skin really well. It will protect your skin from harmful UV rays and prevents tanning as well. But, you should always re-apply the sunscreen for every 3-4 hours if you are out for a longer period. Also, it is advised to use a scarf and a pair of sunglasses for maximum protection.
