Juices are generally taken by a person so that it helps to remove the toxins from the body. Whether you are following juice detox, juice fast or any other drinks, the basic concept of juice diet revolves around drinking fruit or vegetable juices. Juice diet is generally restricted to few days and should not be prolonged more than 6 days. Juice diets are generally vegetarian and can also be vegan which can help to speed up the process of metabolism in the body.

Apart from this, if you are pregnant, the juice diet should be strictly avoided. People with low blood pressure, having a history of eating disorders or have any kidney conditions should not opt for juice diet.

You should start your day with one glass of fresh juice or a cup of skim milk. Now have some nuts to keep your stomach filled for a long time. For lunch, you may consume one or two glasses of fresh fruit or vegetable juice. It is important to make the juices at home in order to get the highest nutrients and proteins from the fruits. In the evening, you can have grilled fish, chicken or legumes. You can consume one bowl of brown rice with one bowl of chicken soup for dinner.
