My Experience with K-Palette Super Black 1-Day Tattoo Real Lasting Mascara:

This mascara comes in a regular black tube. The formula on this one is unique in that it is very very thick. I can only imagine it getting thicker with time, which will make it even more difficult to apply. One huge positive is that it holds the curl really well, just like it claims.

You get a cleansing oil along with the mascara in the packaging. This is a really good, effective cleansing oil that is really up there with my Fancl and DHC cleansing oils. It is very effective and takes off the mascara with ease. The only thing is that you have to at least spend 10 or 15 seconds on each eye to get the product off.

What makes it worse for me is that the more product you get on your lashes, the harder you have to work to get it off. I wish this was film-type like a huge variety of mascaras in the Japanese drugstore. But then again, that is why they have provided the cleansing oil with the mascara.

This mascara does not build volume and doesn’t claim to do so, but it does clump a lot. On the positive side, it can build on itself well, but I feel it doesn’t even give me the length that the Fasio mascara does. It clumps and only gives definition to the lashes because I get only definition from this mascara.

K-palette long lasting mascara

I like to layer on either the Too Faced Better Than Sex or Urban Decay Perversion Mascara first and then go in with the K-Palette mascara. This way I get volume, length and definition. Also, these Too Faced and Urban Decay mascaras are not waterproof and tend to flake. So, using this as a top coat essentially seals it in place.

The wand on this mascara is a regular, thin-bristled wand; nothing spectacular there.

I do not recommend this mascara. It is underwhelming to say the least and I will continue to get use out of it as long as it lasts but will not repurchase.

Pros of K-Palette Super Black 1-Day Tattoo Real Lasting Mascara:

Gives good definition to the lashes.
Comes with an amazing cleansing oil.
Holds curl.
Travel friendly – you do not need to carry a separate, high-power cleansing oil.
