Key Ingredients:
Santalum Album:
Also known as Indian sandalwood, santalum album has been used in India since ancient times as a skin antiseptic. It has anti microbial properties and helps in clearing blackheads and spots on the skin. It is also used in aromatherapy. Sandalwood essential oil helps moisturise and hydrate dry and flaky skin and relieves itching and inflammation of the skin.
Lime:
It rejuvenates the skin, keeps it shining and protects from infections. Its acids scrub out the dead cells, cures dandruff, rashes and bruises.
How to Apply:
Take sufficient quantity on your fingertips and rub to create a lather. Gently scrub for at least 5 minutes concentrating on the toes, ankle and heels. Rinse clean with water.
Packaging:
The packaging is elegant and did not fail to impress me. The scrub comes packaged in a floral designed cream and golden coloured plastic tube with a black coloured flip open cap. This cap has a small outlet inside. This elegant-looking tube comes packaged in a floral designed lemon and cream coloured cardboard box with an outer plastic covering. The product and brand names are inscribed in a golden coloured font with a golden coloured border on both, the tube and cardboard box. The tube packaging is travel-friendly and hygienic to use.

My Experience with Kama Ayurveda Foot Scrub:

Kama Ayurveda Foot Scrub is a light, gel-based scrub with finely ground apricot granules. These granules gently exfoliate my feet. For a foot scrub, I was expecting a cream-based scrub with stronger granules, but this foot scrub is gel-based and has very fine and mild granules. When I first swatched it, it left me thinking if it was for face or feet! This scrub can be used on elbows and hands also. After using it on my feet, I feel that even though it pampers my feet, the granules are too mild for exfoliating my feet. The results are quite good – it thoroughly cleanses and mildly exfoliates foot skin, making it a shade brighter.

It helps get rid of tan and lightens dark marks. It gives a soothing and relaxing effect to my feet. It has a mild, spicy fragrance, and the consistency is slightly runny. Also, it mildly lathers whilst exfoliating. It can be used during morning showers or evening showers, just before using the foot cream. Using these two foot-care products in combination gives better and long-lasting results. It can also be used whilst doing a pedicure at home. This scrub has all good-for-skin ingredients. I definitely like this scrub but find it very mild for my feet.
