Sensitive skin behaves like a toddler; it craves for your attention all the time. Sensitive skin demands attention, extra care and is very delicate in nature, just like toddlers. When it doesn’t get what it wants, it breaks out to protest. Yes, I do understand your pain because I have sensitive skin too, and mine behaves in similar fashion. Today I am reviewing Karena Cleansing Facial Wipes for sensitive skin. I wonder if they forgot an extra ‘e’; do they know about our star Kareena? Anyway, let’s get started with the review.
Cleanse – Remove a triple action wipe and cleanse your face, eyes and neck.
Tone – Triple Action Wipe’s special formula then works on your skin with a gently toning action.
Moisturize – Finally Triple Action Wipes will leave your skin moisturized, cleansed and refreshed.
Removes face and eye makeup, cleanses, tones and moisturizes, Dermatologically Tested, Alcohol free, Hypoallergenic, Fragrance Free, pH balanced.
GBP 0.80 for twin pack; each pack contains 20 wipes.
The packaging is simple, just like other facial wipes. The outer plastic packet is of white and light green color. The wipes were placed in such a way inside a transparent plastic that it was not possible for me to read all the details and ingredient list written at the back. Some customers might feel cheated and some might simply refrain themselves from buying it until they get all the information. In my opinion, they should change the packaging immediately.
My Experience with Karena Cleansing Facial Wipes for Sensitive Skin:
I use facial wipes mostly on days when I come back home late at night. I feel lazy to clean my face with a face wash or makeup remover either. Especially on cold nights, I don’t feel like touching either hot water or cold water; I feel that even lukewarm water would make my skin dry. Therefore, Karena facial wipes looked perfect for my sensitive skin for such days. It claims to be extra thick, extra large, but I am not sure about that. These are the only facial wipes I have right now with me, so can’t really compare the size. But honestly, I don’t think there is any major difference.
It does remove even heavy eye and face makeup, but heavy waterproof eye makeup doesn’t goes away in one swipe. It takes time! But it removes waterproof makeup well. Karena wipes don’t irritate eyes even when you’re struggling with waterline. I had one pimple on my face when I just used Karena facial wipe to remove my makeup before going to sleep. Next day when I woke up, I noticed that it had not impacted the size of the pimple – it had not irritated my pimple. It is a sure sign that this wipe is truly meant for sensitive skin. Otherwise, the size of my pimple would have grown twice and I would have got 1 or 2 extra pimples to accompany the alpha pimple.
My skin becomes very dry, especially in winter. But Karena wipes didn’t make my skin dry. Even next morning after waking up, my skin didn’t cry or demanded its breakfast – a moisturizing cream. I carry just a single backup when I travel on weekends. Therefore, I cannot carry lots of things with me. Carrying a makeup remover, a toner, a moisturizing cream, body lotions and other makeup items can take lots of space. Therefore, for short trips, this facial wipe is a boon for me. Karena wipes are really awesome.
