Kat Von D Beloved Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Review

My love for Kat Von D’s beauty line is no secret. Recently, I hauled a couple more colors from her everlasting liquid lipstick range. This review will be on the shade “Beloved.”

What it does:
Now with 16 additional, bold shades of Everlasting Liquid Lipstick for all-night wear, this innovative formula gives lips long-lasting wear and high-pigment color. Its creamy, color-rich formula glides over lips like a gloss but dries to a true matte finish. It’s infused with natural comfort-enhancing ingredients, including vitamin E and sunflower seed, so you can flaunt lasting matte color that leaves lips feeling comfortable.  It is formulated without parabens.

My Experience with Kat Von D Beloved Everlasting Liquid Lipstick:

Packaging:  Simple yet practical. This liquid lipstick comes in a long tube through which you can see the color of the lipstick. It has a long doe-foot wand which allows clean and precise application.

Texture and Application:  I love the texture of these liquid lipsticks. They are neither too thick nor too thin, and have that whipped mousse consistency.  It spreads on the lips easily and sets within a minute. This particular shade applies slightly streaky, but the streaking is not that apparent when the lipstick dries.

Shade and Pigmentation:  The shade “Beloved” is described as a soft coral. On me, it looks more of a very light and bright pinky coral shade with a pastel tone to it. This color very much reminds me of bright summer days. Though it doesn’t wash out my light-medium skin tone, it will be a tricky shade for deeper and duskier skin tones. The pigmentation is beautiful; provides good opaque coverage in one swipe. It is easy to build it up in layers, but I wouldn’t recommend putting on more than 1-2 coats as it can feel drying.

Feel on lips:  This liquid lipstick feels like nothing on the lips. There is no tacky or sticky feeling. You can barely make out that you have anything on your lips. It is comfortable to wear and isn’t too drying. If your lips are in good condition (exfoliation and moisturizing them prior to use), you will have absolutely no issue.

Staying Power:  Very good staying power. This liquid lipstick stays all day on my lips, which is usually 8 hours with multiple drink breaks and will only break down with oil, so be careful when eating oily food. I see some fading from the inner part of my lips after a meal.

Overall, I am very impressed with this line of liquid lipsticks by Kat Von D and this color is especially fun to wear. If you are someone who prefers bright bold lips with a pastel tone as opposed to bright neons, this is a perfect color for you. I know come summer time, I will love to wear this more often. I will recommend this.

Cons of Kat Von D Beloved Everlasting Liquid Lipstick:

• This shade will be difficult to pull off for duskier and deeper skin tones.
• This particular shade goes a bit streaky.
