My Experience with Kat Von D Underage Red Everlasting Liquid Lipstick:

The packaging of the lipstick is simple and classy. It comes in a black matte outer cardboard packaging with some attractive prints on it in silver. This outer packaging has all the details about the product. The lipstick tube is transparent. This long and thin cylindrical tube has a matte black cap with intriguing floral patterns on it. The applicator wand is long and the applicator is typical doe-foot type.

The quality of the applicator is good, but I avoid using this applicator and instead use a lip brush to apply the lipstick in a more precise way. “Underage Red” is a vivid red shade. Though the shade looks exactly the same as “Outlaw” in the hand swatch and even is very similar to Outlaw. The difference in both the shades is very minor.

“Outlaw” is a bright red shade with no undertones while “Underage Red” is a bold red shade with slightly bluish undertones. The texture of the liquid lipstick is lovely. It is soft and smooth and feels feathery light on the lips and it feels like that I have not put anything on my lips.

The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. The lipstick has ultra matte finish. It has no sheen or shimmer. The lipstick dries super quickly within a few seconds. The pigmentation of the lipstick is intense. The lipstick is insanely pigmented. So, it perfectly covers my pigmented lips in a single swipe, but you need not layer it on, but even with multiple swipes, it does not feel cakey.

The lipstick has no smell or taste. Though the formula does not feel much drying, it does nothing to moisturize the lips. It does not accentuate fine lines of the lips. The lipstick is long lasting, smudge proof and transfer proof, but I cannot vouch for its waterproof claim because it stains a bit when the lipstick comes in contact with water.

The lipstick lasts for a good 8-9 hours on my lips. Doing touch-ups is much easier with this lipstick as it is not the case with all transfer-proof lipsticks. This lipstick does not last even one meal and starts to chip from the inner side of the lips. It gets removed with a good-quality makeup remover without leaving any stain behind. Overall, as a red matte lipstick lover, I absolutely love this shade and I will surely recommend this to all red lipstick lovers.
