Kaya Comedone Control Serum Claims

Packaging:
This product comes in the standard Kaya packaging – white glass bottle with a pump dispenser and a transparent cap. The cap doesn’t really fit well and hence there are chances of losing it. This isn’t travel-friendly since there would be a lot of product leakage because of the ill-fitting cap. Even though it’s easy to dispense the product, you tend to waste at least some of the product at the end. There is no way to dig your fingers into the bottle and take the product out, unlike tub containers. Some may prefer it this way, but I like to use the product till the last drop.

My Experience with Kaya Comedone Control Serum:

I have sensitive and oily skin, so I am very particular about the skincare products I use. I had gone for my regular Kaya session. I must tell you that I love the sessions but the blackhead cleaning session is one of the worst and most painful parts of the relaxing session. And since it was a while since I had done a facial, I could literally see stars during the session; the blackheads and whiteheads were that bad! The specialist suggested this newly launched product saying this would help me.

Now let’s get into my review. This serum has a water-based formula and hence the consistency is not very thick nor thin. It has a very medical aroma, you may be wondering what is that. I felt I was preparing my skin for an injection, rather than a beauty treatment. It doesn’t last long, so doesn’t bother me much. They suggested me to use the serum in the morning and night after the CTM routine on my nose and T-zone.

I am religiously using it for the last three months and I really like this product. The first few days I tried it on my whole face. This product is supposed to reduce the oiliness too, but I woke up like an oil pot the next day. Even though it left an oily cast, it didn’t break me out. So now I use it only on my blackhead and spot areas, i.e. nose, T-zone, cheekbones and chin. I don’t really think this is a summer product and for oily skinned beauties.

Kaya Comedone Control Serum Features

I spoke to the dermatologist to understand how the formula works. She said that when you apply this serum, the comedones get loosened and will fall off when you wash your face. It really lived up to its claims. My comedones have considerably reduced and my skin is feeling much clearer now. This has worked like magic for me and is a life…oops…nose saver. ☺

I haven’t seen my nose so clear and clean in near times. It works much better if you use it with their purifying cleanser, toner and sunscreen. It’s definitely very pricey, but worth every penny. You need very little product so this really lasts long. Use it consistently and you would love yourself for buying this one.
