Kaya Pimple Free Cream

Kaya Pimple Free Cream

What The Company Claims About The Product:

It contains Lactic acid, Triclosan and other active ingredients. Lactic acid helps remove dead skin cells that clog pores and Triclosan helps prevent multiplication of pimple forming bacteria. The other active ingredients work together to reduce pimples, pore size, oiliness of skin and lightens the post pimple marks. Skin feels pleasantly smoother, clearer and softer.  Oiliness is controlled giving the face a soft, radiant glow.

Packaging:

The cream comes in a small-sized, simple, white-coloured tube packaging.  On the first look, it may look like a sample product :D, but since, the cream has to be used directly on the acne/breakouts, it will last you for at least 3 weeks in my opinion.

My Experience with Kaya Pimple Free Cream:

For ladies (like me) who are often tormented by acne/pimples, any product offering relief from it seems luring.  I was going through an online shopping website when I saw this cream from Kaya.  Since, Kaya is well known for its skin care services and products; I thought I should try this.

The cream is white coloured and lightweight. It has a faint/mild fragrance, like a mix of chemical-ish, pleasant and herbal-like smell, but nothing that bothers me.

I apply it directly, only on my breakouts, like a spot treatment cream and just pat it lightly. It gives a slight tingling sensation for about 1 minute.

The cream dries up quickly and gives a stretchy feel on the areas/breakouts I apply it. It seems, this has a drying out effect on the breakouts. I mostly use it at night, to see, how it works on them (breakouts).  I don’t see any miraculous results from the cream, just reduces the size of the breakout, like very little difference it makes.  I have been using this cream for sometime now and I find it just okay.

I guess I am just going to finish this one up, but not buy this again.

I think since I use derma prescribed creams and lotions for treating my breakouts/acne which have intense chemical composition, such over-the-counter, mild products don’t work much for me. If you are someone who gets occasional acne/breakouts, you can give this a shot.

Overall, my rating for the product would be neutral, neither too good, nor too bad.

Listing its pros and cons below:

Pros of Kaya Pimple Free Cream:

• Lightweight, non-greasy cream, absorbs easily.
• Has a drying-up effect on pimples/breakouts.
• Small, easy-to-carry/travel-friendly small-sized tube.
• Decent packaging.
• Not very expensive.

Cons of Kaya Pimple Free Cream:

• I didn’t see any major difference on pimples/breakouts after applying this.
• May not work on people who use a lot of derma-prescribed medicinal creams with heavy chemical composition.
• Cannot be used under makeup as it leaves behind a whitish patch when dried.
• Kaya products are sparsely distributed.
