Kaya Skin Clinic Lighten and Smooth Under Eye Gel Review
By Neetu C.
I am a regular follower of this blog and the reviews here have made me purchase products more sensibly now. As my contribution to this blog, this is my first review.
I was very upset with my dark circles and after trying a lot of stuff, I tried “Kaya Skin Clinic Lighten and Smooth Under Eye Gel.”
Lighten and Smooth Under Eye Gel with an advanced active HALOXYL , helps visibly reduce under eye dark circles by dissolving the blood pigments that cause darkening under the eye. It also promotes firmness and tone of the under eye skin.
Glycerin /Steareth-20/Chrysin/N-hydroxysuccinimide/PalmitoylOligopeptide/Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3, Cetereayl Octanoate, Polysorbate 20
How To Use:
After cleansing and toning, dispense an adequate amount of gel onto your finger. Apply gently to the area under your eyes. For optimum results, use morning and evening.
INR 500/- for 15 ml.
No shelf life mentioned on the tube.
My Experience with Kaya Skin Clinic Lighten and Smooth Under Eye Gel:
I underwent a 30-day package from Kaya Skin Clinic, where they treated me for my dark circles and basic facials. After my 6 days of dark circle treatment, I was asked to use this under eye gel. They claim that it removes the dark circles and tones/firms the under eye skin. The texture of the cream is a little lighter than any normal face cream. It dissolves completely into the skin and doesn’t make me feel as if anything is applied.
Normal makeup can be applied post under eye cream application. Though the bottle doesn’t mention anything about the SPF, but the lady at the clinic said, that it has some SPF (may she did that to sell this tube to me!). I did notice some difference in the dark circles after continuous usage of the product, but once I stopped, the dark circles reappeared. It definitely firms the skin under the eye though, but its too expensive for the quantity and works only if used continuously. Honestly, I feel as if I am forced to use this cream and only then it shows the results.
It doesn’t help in reducing fine lines, but the cream never claimed to do so either, but my kajal usually smudges if I apply it post using this under eye cream.
Summing up the review, I am listing down the pros and cons of this under eye gel:
Pros of Kaya Skin Clinic Lighten and Smooth Under Eye Gel:
- Good packaging and easy to carry around.
- Consistency of the cream is light and gets absorbed into the skin quickly, without leaving any oiliness behind.
- It does tone the under eye skin, but only after consistent use.
Cons of Kaya Skin Clinic Lighten and Smooth Under Eye Gel:
- Does not treat dark circles as claimed.
- Available only at Kaya Skin Clinics or pharmacies that sell Kaya products.
- Expensive considering the quantity.
For the price, the under eye gel doesn’t do much. It doesn’t lighten the dark circles, but helps in firming the skin. I will try some other under eye gel or some home remedies to get rid of my dark circles.

To fight dark circles, best home remedy is to use crushed potato or potato slices on you eyes for 15-20 minutes…
I am currently using Aroma magic Almond eye cream… its a nice cream… But you will see the results slowly 🙂
I don’t have dark circles but since i am 26 i wonder about using a good under eye cream to prevent dark circles.. My sis said Aroma magic under eye cream worked for her and it has potato extract as ingredient..
Is almond another variant?? or does it have potato extract in it??
Must buy one soon
This is the exact name of the product i use “Aroma Magic Almond Under Eye Cream”And these are the Active ingredients: Extracts of Lemon Peel, Almond, Bach and pure essential oils of Rose, Carrot and Lavender.
Potato is not mentioned here.. but this cream works !!
Thanks for that tip. i am really gonna try that out. i am very very very upset with my dark circles currently and no cream seems to work for me 🙁
Sad it didnt work 🙁
Does Kaya treatment real work. I guess they simply money minting machines in the name of skin clinic.
Before my wedding i underwent some ‘Meso Therapy’ from Kaya and it did seem to work. it was costly though. but it did give me skin a nice glow and kept it hydrated for days. but nothing works for my dark circles.
Its really hard to find an eye cream which works! I will try Aroma Magic now!
Even I hav used it and found it ok sorts..Ive tried Oriflame under eye gel too and even that was just alrite.. My castor oil/sesame oil/ almond oil formula is the pakka formula for me 🙂 Try that!
Oh i use this combination along with olive oil for my hair. I will try it out on my under eyes as well.
Too bad that the cream proved to be a dud, Neetu. How was the overall skin treatment at Kaya? Do the effects stay for long or is it just a temporary thingie? Also, for dark circles, I have been using the regular Roghan Badam for a couple of years now and it is quite effective. You could also try applying cucumber gel or juice.
i like your display name 🙂 i took hair removal laser from kaya for my underarms and upperlip. after completing 6 session for each body part, i have almost lost all underarm hair (which is good), but no difference on my upper lip. i still wax or do threading for my upperlip.
and for skin i had undergone few facials and Meso Therapy, where in they polished my skin and the results were amazing but lasted only for a month or so. U need to be regular and being regular with Kaya means LOT of money.
it has to have really strong chemicals to do something dramatic.
You first need to know the cause of your dark circles. is it lack of sleep, stress, hours in front of pc n try to correct them along wid the treatment. we get dark circles wen the skin under eye looses its moisture. try applying honey. it is a humectant ( attracts moisture in air) and is also a lightening agent. is cheap n safe too. one more thing you need to check is that , if your haemoglobin levels are in place. because if you are anaemic you might get dark circles. always remember your skin is the reflection of your health.
I have used VlCC almond under eye cream. it didnt work for me at all. After reading the comments, I think I will have to get aroma under eye cream. 😛
such a dud his product is…. 🙁
neetu, could b pls tell us about ur overall experience at kaya?
m thinking of getting it done too.. so wud like to know about results n are the effects temporary o permanent??
no skin treatment is permanent. it requires regular care….It does give you the glow for a mont or so…(till ur weddinbg and few days after ur wedding), but then u need to take care of it urself.
but yes, after doing Kaya for my wedding, i did not undergo any facials from any other parlours……and since my skin had that glow….i had to use very little makeup on my wedding day.
i would suggest, visit kaya find out what is good for you ..(do do do bargain….)also visit good parlours and check with them….get all facts ready and then decide where do you want to spend your money.
also i am assuming you are getting married, so start drinking amla, aloe vera and karela juice in morning. it removes lot of toxins and give your skin natural freshness…..
Skin around my eyes is extremely black will aroma under eye magic eye gel work for it and if yes where do i buy it
