Kerastase Specifique Stimuliste Nutri-Energising Daily Anti-Hair Loss Spray Review

Today, I am back with another long awaited review. This is an essence spray for the scalp to control hair fall. This is from my most favorite hair care brand “Kerastase.” I bought it in April; when during a hair spa at the Kerastase salon, the beautician noticed quite a bit of hair fall and recommended this product to me. I bought two bottles of this; since one bottle was supposed to last me for around 2 months, with twice or thrice a week application. I have been using it regularly since the month of April and will now review this for you.

Product Description:

Daily nutri-energising anti-hair loss treatment. Stimulates natural hair growth*.*clinical test on 119 people

Application:  Stimuliste has to be applied daily on dry or towel-dried hair, as a complement to the cure anti-chute pro-ciblee. Spray on the roots, massage. Do not rinse. Style as usual.

Packaging:

It comes in a grey-colored long box packaging that’s wrapped inside a cellophane sheet. All details are written on the box. Inside is a grey color metal canister like bottle, which contains 150 ml product. It has a nozzle at the top, which is again covered with a white cap for hygiene purpose. On pressing the nozzle, the product comes out as a spray.

Color/Fragrance/Consistency:  This is a colorless liquid, as thin as water. It has no special fragrance in it, just a smell of certain chemicals.

How To Use:

The technique of application was demonstrated to me by the Kerastase hair specialist. After shampooing and drying your hair with a towel, you need to divide your hair into sections randomly, and spray the liquid onto the scalp. It has a cooling sensation on contact with the scalp. Around 5-6 sprays are required after you wash your hair, every time. Then, you just massage your scalp a bit for a minute or two…and it is done!

Results: I am a Kerastase fan! And that is because it has always produced good results on my hair. I wash my hair around 2-3 times a week and ever since I got this spray, have been using it after each spray. This spray is supposed to reduce my hair fall. My hair was in good condition after using the Kerastase Initialliste as checked by the Kerastase hair professional, using their special, camera-like machine, but I still had hair fall.  So, I was recommended to try this product.

I have to say that, unfortunately, this product has not worked for me at all, not even a bit. My hair continued to fall as before and in fact increased with the onset of monsoons. I am almost finishing the second bottle, but nope, no results at all. In fact, it was only the L’Occitane Body and Strength Shampoo and Conditioner which helped me in the end.

This product has really decreased my infatuation with the brand and a loss of a great deal of money as well. On the positive side, it did not accumulate on my scalp. It did not cause any irritation or itching on my scalp.  In fact, it did nothing at all!

• Easy-to-use spray bottle.
• Easy to apply on scalp.
• No particular fragrance.
• No product accumulation on scalp.
• No irritation or itching on scalp.

Cons of Kerastase Specifique Stimuliste Nutri-Energising Daily Anti-Hair Loss Spray:

• Did not reduce my hair fall; either during dry summers or humid rainy season.
• Very expensive.
• Limited availability in India.

Would I Repurchase Kerastase Specifique Stimuliste Nutri-Energising Daily Anti-Hair Loss Spray?

This is a treatment product; available only at Kerastase professional salons. To give it a benefit of doubt, I will say that what has not worked for me; might work for someone else. But if you go by my experience, I would not recommend this product to anyone dealing with excess hair fall.
