My Experience with The Kevyn Aucoin Myracle Pure Powder Glow Blush:
Packaging:
This product comes in the similar packaging as that of the sculpting powder and the celestial powder . This product used to come in quite a bigger size previously but for some reason they decided to cut the quantity of product with no reduction in price.
It comes with a tiny mirror inside but doesn’t come with a brush. It comes with its own tiny pouch.
Shade & Pigmentation:
I fell in love with this product particularly for this shade. My inner Barbie squealed when I saw this hot pink. This is a highly highly pigmented blush and you need the lightest tap of your brush to get full pigment delivered on the cheek. It is very easy to go overboard with it as it can be difficult to control the insanely wild pigmentation.
It does not accentuate pores as it does not contain any shimmer. It has a complete matte finish yet the bright pink color gives a very healthy flush to the face. This color will suit most skin tones ranging from light to dark. But if you are very fair or pale, I would not recommend this particular color.
Texture:
This powder is very smooth and soft and blends into the skin easily without any patchiness. It becomes one with the skin and does not feel like it is sitting on top of it.
Staying Power is very good. It stays put for 6 hours before starting to fade subtly.
Overall, I am loving this blush a lot especially this particular bright pink shade; but to be honest, I do not find this product to be that unique in terms of shade and texture to justify the high price. There are lot of drugstore alternatives to this (The Balm blushes and Milani flower blushes are good alternatives) where you can find similar shade and similar texture to this. But if you are willing to splurge on something high-end, this will not disappoint you in terms of performance.
Pros of Kevyn Aucoin Myracle The Pure Powder Glow Blush:
• Very pigmented, lightest tap of the brush in all you need.
• Hot pink shade.
• Shade gives healthy flush to the cheeks and brightens up the face.
• Smooth, soft easily bendable texture.
• Does not go patchy or uneven.
• Complete matte finish, no shimmer.
Cons of Kevyn Aucoin Myracle The Pure Powder Glow Blush:
• Very easy to go overboard because of strong pigmentation
• Expensive
• Not that unique in terms of shade and texture. Very easy to dupe.
